hey hey! you can call me Ghostie, this is a blog on radqueer education, and how they affect the queer community and the vulnerable people within their own community.
- what is radqueer?
radqueer, in their definition, is "radically inclusive" queerness. meaning they accept wanting to be a different race as trans identities and paraphilias as valid orientations. it should be kept in mind radical inclusionism is NOT the same as being a radqueer, and most radinclus dont want to be associated with radqueers.
- more abt you?
were a system that uses any pronouns except they. we use I and we interchangeably. though most active alters are ghostie or mangle
we are pro: trans* spectrum, mspec monos, endogenic/nondisordered systems, alterhuman, aspec, anti-contact para, harm reduction, transids and any anti-rq alternatives.
*transgender individuals, transexuals, travestites, gender-nonconformists, any cisn't person
we are anti: pro, comp or neu-contact para, abuse, harassment, discrimination, MIK, MUDs, transharm
we are critical of: shipcourse (both sides), the psychiatric industry, transitioning to transid labels, tulpa as a terminology
- why are you qualified to talk about this?
I spent time within their community, because I believe everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves, radqueers simply lost their chance as I learnt more about them and realised they were spreading harm in the name of radical acceptance
otherwise we are paraphiles (though we use kink or fetish terminology) and experience atypical dysphoria. both of these include less palatable stuff. we are also part of the mogai community which to our dismay overlaps with the radqueer community.
within the time I spent within the community Ive noticed radqueers fit almost every point on the BITE model of cult mind control, and while they dont fit all the requirements necessary to be a cult the bite model is also often used for things like abusive patterns within family, relationships, or communities. what is the BITE model? heres an image describing it here (link).

As someone who is an ex-radqueer, I'd like to say that you can't believe in radqueer ideology unless you are in a really dark place mentally.
It's a community formed around warped views on consent and relationships, stereotypes about disabled people and people of colour, and harmful views on self perception and identity.
The tags is a collection of people talking about harmful and toxic relationships, how they hate themselves and want to be hurt, and once in a while the idolification of awful people! But in all seriousness, it's the most depressing fucking place and when you're "in it" you can't even realise that.
And unfortunately a lot of these people are minors or young adults.
I think one of the most insane parts about being an ex-radqueer is looking back and seeing all these callout posts on people who were supposedly "anti-contact" but secretly grooming children & indulging in csem. I was so convinced that those people were some of the good ones.
As an ex-radqueer, I think the anti-radqueer community should focus on changing others minds with kindness and letting them know that they're welcome to use less harmful labels; that they will still find support outside of that community.
Telling TransID folks to harm themselves, or worse, will not make them want to leave the community. Telling them horrible things while crosstagging your post will only make them feel unsafe, and as though people outside of the community would never understand their experience.
Coming from personal experience, having a kind, helping hand to get out of the community is worth so much more than being harassed and talked to violently.
My blog is open to interactions from all. This isn't a safe space for anyone who targets radqueers and ex radqueers.
The fact most "antis" only focus on transIDs when they're attacking radqueers is so frustrating to me. For most people (and especially ones that don't fit the social norms) radqueer community is the last option after being ostracized and shamed everywhere they go. There are real and active problems in the community and all "antis" do is talk about whether transabled kids are a danger to society or not.
The problem with radqueer ideology isn't supporting transIDs (though, it's up to debate for many whether they can be harmful or not but this post is about more serious issues, bear with me), it's not the paraphilia acceptance, and it's definitely not the anti-censorship. The actual problems in the radqueer community are the lack of proper risk informed kink education (yes, even if it's conabuse dynamic), lack of action against abusers and the overall "don't like don't look" mindset being applied to real people that hold & spread actually harmful beliefs in a community filled with young people being drawn to all this new information. Don't scroll by yet, let me explain.
This is coming from someone who used to be a popular blog and an influential personality in the community, someone who lived through this, not an outsider. What I figured out is that there were barely any actual activism outside of people liking Tumblr posts, and the whole "accept Everyone no matter what they believe in" mentality there makes people think it's never okay to criticize other's beliefs and thoughts. So little people actually call out harmful beliefs. Yes, accepting people you don't agree with is good but without educating them on harms of these ideals and stopping them from spreading their beliefs (example: people who believe animals can consent) that community can easily turn, and did turn into a hunting ground for malicious people. Actual predators found it an easy ground to lurk in, pretending they're part of the community because where else would they go if not the community where every stance is accepted? Along with the whole "you can always lie about your age" and "only you know if you can consent or not" misconceptions/encouragements being allowed, and even supported by many, makes it a very dangerous space to be in. Especially for a chrono teen, which is majority of the community.
So yeah no, transID isn't the problem. I use countless transIDs and I'm healthy, happy and thriving. I don't hangout in radqueer spaces anymore and I'm no longer facing harrassment from antis despite me being open about my identities. I learned a lot after leaving the radqueer community and I learned that there is a world out there that WILL happily accept me as who I am. I now know how consent really works and what kind of people I should avoid to reduce potential harm.
My transIDs and paraphilias didn't hurt me, what hurt me was the ideology that blindly accepted people with harmful beliefs and turned everything into a popularity contest or harrassment campaign rather than listening to those who want to call out these people. What hurt me was antis sending me death threats for what labels I use for my identity. And I don't blame most of the people there. Once you're stuck in an echo chamber, it's easy to believe you're forming your own opinions when you're just repeating what everyone else is repeating (and sometimes calling you a fake rad for disagreeing). I know because I was there and I was very supportive of the pro-cs as a teen, without really questioning why I support them or why they should be part of the community. I know how much of a slippery slope "acceptance for all" can be if you refuse to call out harmful beliefs being spread in your community.

What it was like being in the Radqueer space, as an ex-radqueer.
TW: mentions of self harm, rape, school shootings, grooming, abuse, cults,
A talk. I need to talk about it all.
Hello. I recently left the radqueer space and would like to talk about it for those interested in learning about the space or want their fears and criticism confirmed.
First off, why did I become a radqueer? At the time in my life, I was down, really down and needed a community, I needed people who would accept me, I needed people who would love me no matter what I believed in. I thought that the Radqueer space was a safe space to express my thoughts and be accepted. I was so depressed and needed that validation that I went to the worst places I could have gone to, but I was blind at the time. I was craving attention so badly I went to the one place that gave attention to everything, good and bad.
My situation there was more negative than positive.
Here is everything that happened that I can remember.
You were called a "fakerad" for being anti-contact or even neutral-contact. This made it seem like if you didn't do as everyone else did, you were an outcast, no one would like you, and you'd be harassed.
Rarely people tagged their NSFW posts. You'd be scrolling and be hit with the heaviest most triggering conabuse post ever and there would be no warning or tags on the post.
People supported confirmed abusers and predators and didn't care. They say that "they've change" / "they're changing!" But in reality there was nothing the abuser was doing to change.
LSDqueers and Basedqueers were common in the space. If you don't know what they were, to put it simply: they believe in noncon / non consent. Yes, they believe that rape is justified, that harassment is justified, that anything non con is fine. Many people did not care about this.
Harassment was common. To both insiders and outsiders. If you didn't say the right thing to someone they would call you the r-slur and fling insults at you. If you left the space and told others what truly happened, they would insult you and put you on blast on their blogs.
They believe that minors, animals, and corpses could consent. For minors, they believe in youth liberation, that minors can truly consent and that "theyve consented!" But in reality theyve been groomed into thinking it was fine. For animals, they said to "watch for body language" and just "be gentle" with the animal. For corpses, they said if the person consented before death, it was fine.
It was very cult-like. The bigger of a radqueer you were, the more attention you got, the more people would let stuff go, the more people didn't care about your actions. If you tried to leave or criticize the community, you'd be called a "fakerad" and be ostracized. I felt scared to leave the community, what if they come after me if they find my blogs once I leave? They made you seem like a traitor if you decided to leave.
Many of them are just groomed by the adults in the space. Many of them happen to be minors who were groomed and believe that they weren't, some of these minors actually want to be groomed by adults, and that they enjoy it. I saw that many of them were "transgroomed" and that when an anti would say they were being groomed, the minor would say "it's just validating my IDs!"
Many of the IDs these radqueers would have would be transharmful IDs. Such of which includes but is not limited to transschoolshooter, transmurderer, transrapist, transnazi, transhateful, transcultist, transcultleader, and transbigot.
Self harm was encouraged by many large radqueers in the space. One of which, I remember, had encouraged her followers to cut themselves because she viewed herself as a Goddess, they would ask where to cut themselves or how to do it, or "should I carve your name into my thigh? :3" and she would validate them and encourage it.
Many of the users were in the TCC, the true crime community. The TCC is notorious for their admiration and love of criminals, abusers, and school shooters.
Many of the transcultists wanted spaces where their transgod or transcultleader would encourage self harm and other very harmful acts like hurting others.
Thats all I can remember at the moment, if I remember more then I'll add it to the list.
If you are like me, an ex-radqueer, remember that everything will be okay, you are healing, you are on your journey to heal from this all. You are growing and changing your ways, and thats better than staying in a situation that hurts you.
Hello, we are back from our hiatus. We honestly needed some time off to come up with ideas, but now weโre collectively making this post.
We do admit that weโre kind of nervous of posting this one. Itโs a serious and very much incriminating post that will probably stir the community up, but we consider this post quite crucial in regards of how the community lures you in.
TW: The BITE model is often associated with cults, organizations, RAMCOA/OEA and so on. It describes extreme emotional abuse that these groups use. Please, do not read if this content triggers you.
What is the BITE model?
The BITE model is a type of abuse structure used by organizations, cults and groups. It uses very specific thought patterns to manage their victims, often divided in four types of control: behavior, information, thought and emotional.
As the image projects, there are multiple characteristics within these:
Behavioral: it refers to control of the entire ambience and surroundings, inciting the victim(s) into staying or being docile towards the authority. Punishment and rewards are usually very common in this specific area. Similarly, abusers always aim to have their victims be dependent, obedient and monitored.
Information: this is related to propaganda and false information dressed as truth. In this type of abuse, abusers discourage victims to look for external information, as well as constantly making the propaganda they provide look as a โthem vs usโ thing.
Thought: this specific bit is intertwined with the former point, as it is mass manipulation. Abusers will often encourage โgoodโ thoughts, which leads to constant โblack and whiteโ thinking in this regard. They will make their propaganda feel as โall or nothingโ or โgood or bad,โ and reject any nuance between them. Usually, they make you โstop thinkingโ for them to manipulate you, using intricate manipulation bits to make you stop question. A close example is to make you pray for having depression instead of reaching to its root.
Emotional: this is by far the most dangerous type of abuse in the model. In an organization, abusers will tend to have favoritism of specific people, usually making them feel like they are the chosen one, special or unique. On the other hand both โcommonersโ and โchosen onesโ suffer from taught phobias (see: homophobia, transphobia and even xenophobia), guilt-tripping, and so on.
In simpler terms, an organization will constantly find ways to lure you in and, while youโre in that group or community, keep you controlled and spoon-fed with pseudo information, love-bombing and multiple other types of abuse.
โBut what about radqueers?โ
Thatโs probably the question youโre about to ask. And unfortunately, I have news for you; they operate on a scheme that, if it isnโt the same things verbatim, it is oddly similar to the BITE model. These traits we mention include:
Behavioral: constantly making sure that their members feel unsafe in other spaces by making them feel they will never be accepted; create dependence and obedience utilizing โlack of rulesโ as a rigid moral backbone; reactionary behavior as a defense to their beliefs.
Information: offer pseudo information about the trans- prefix, mental illnesses and even older terms as trans species or otherkinity; propaganda to lure in vulnerable people by romanticizing paraphilia/paraphilic disorders, mental illnesses and other things; treat people who even arenโt aware of the existence of their beliefs as enemies; controlling information by hiding other important details (youth liberation being treated as a โminors can consentโ card, for example).
Thought: manipulating vulnerable members into thinking they are transX or have a paraphilia; encouraging the sexualization of IRL minors, paraphilia and trauma as โgood thoughtsโ; frequently dissuading others from looking into other communities outside of the radqueer community.
Emotional: triggering victims to lure them in further; constantly manipulate them into thinking they canโt escape or that they will never be loved or appreciated in other communities; constantly treat your disorders as desirable (ie: treating NPD as something desirable or call themselves transAutistic).
These are just small examples of what some ex-radqueers have experienced, including us. But there are other multiple ways they can manipulate you into joining. After all, they pretty much operate on โsoloโ by creating spaces for themselves to create echo chambers.
Another thing we would like to bring up that are aligned with these bits of Hassanโs model are the following:
The โqueerificationโ of mental illnesses and paraphilia
The growing influx of transIDs that may or may not work as propaganda
The curious yet worrying treatment of deity-kin within the community
The influx of โfultsโ (faux cults) within the community
Treating neoreligions as cults (this excludes pop culture deities, as these are simply egregores)
The constant romanticization of RAMCOA as a sexual kink
Conclusion:
While the comparison of radqueers to cults is rampant amongst the anti radqueer community, we personally consider that it is, in fact, not a cult. However, we DO consider that radqueers operate on similar schemes and modus operandi that mimic actual cults.
Radqueers constantly deny committing these types of abuse, butโฆ If they are a โfree-thinkingโ community, why would they allow a โtransโ nazi on the community? More so, why do they commit to the bits and do follow the BITE model? Unless it is unknowingly, why would you do precisely what an organization of abusers would do to a victim? Especially a cult to its victims?
A big part of the community are victims of grooming within the space. Perhaps that is why most of them operate on the same pattern. But unfortunately, the thoughts and actions behind this community are dangerous to others and themselves.
TransID Alternatives for the Newbie Recovering Radqueers :)
EDITED TO INCLUDE NICHELINK
The progress I had got deleted FML ;-;
But! I will not back down. This post is a list of alternatives for transID/transX terms for all the nice recovering radqueers who need a hand in finding nice terms OR the people who need any of these.
Important note: transIDs are rooted in ableism and racism since they โaskโ you to transition into whatever the ID is. These alternatives are for the assumption that you do NOT wish to transition, and more of an auxiliary term to ease BIID and atypical dysphoria (which I struggle with as a disso-narcoleptic and a desirdae stoner).
TransID Alternatives:
Chronosian: a trans-age alternative for the people who perceive themselves as a different age from their own. There are multiple subtypes, but my search led me to two: jeuchronal (younger) and crucijuvenchronal (traumabased regression). The term โpermaregressedโ has been recoined and used for people with cognitive impairments and intellectual disabilities, as well. Itโs common to be seen in systems, but anyone can use this!
Dissomei/dissodic: this one is a specific term to involuntary connections to anything. Itโs specifically for atypical dysphoria or, in the case of our plural folks, for disorders that an alter has but the body doesnโt. For example, I (Stahl), Enmu and Noire experience narcolepsy in-system but the body doesnโt, so we use the term dissodic for ourselves. Dissodic may also refer to BIID, which serves as an auxiliary term for it.
Desirdae: similar do dissomei, it refers to a term that eases up BIID or an alter with a specific quirk the body doesnโt have. The difference, however, is that desirdae refers to desiring to achieve that โtransitionโ. It refers to, for example, stop masking autism or ADHD, as well as alters being able to wish and crave for any need they have. As an example, I am a stoner in system but the body isnโt, therefore I use desir-stoner.
Aldernic: I can sum it up on โotherkinity on steroidsโ /j. Itโs a term where you wish to have a different body from yours, typically non-human. This may range from being a therian to fictionkin. We can even say some alters do wish to look more like themselves bodily, therefore they could use this term.
Nichelink: It's basically a relationship that is "niche!" It's mostly referring to kink relationships that would be "problematic" if it was literal. It falls under the RACK kink acronym (risk-accepted consensual kink) and everyone is explicitly consenting to it.
Other Solutions:
Self-diagnosis: if properly researched and studied, your trans-disorder could be properly assessed and self-diagnosed until you find a good-quality doctor that aids you in your discovery.
Willogenic/Parogenic plurality: trans-plural is actually an oxymoron to me. With enough will and imagination, you can create an alter that comforts you and helps you cope. In this post answering an ask, we provided some evidence on how โtulpamancyโ helps neurodivergent people. One recommendation, though, tulpamancy as a concept is a closed practice. If I was you, I would use the term willo.
Consented taboo kinks: THIS IS FOR ADULTS AND ADULTS ONLY. But if you have a need for any taboo fantasy, thereโs nothing wrong with finding the right partner. As long as you are adults and consenting, there is zero needs for you to doubt yourself!
Archive On Our Own (AO3): we love AO3 in this household. There is a major chance that your fictional taste is met there. A reading a smit fanfic or two does not hurt anyone or you at all! My main recommendation is to keep it fictional and have no RPF media involved.
Important Considerations:
I as an alter am more neutral, but we are pretty much against RPF. Sexualizing minor actors is borderline predatory, and while the damage is minimal, it may cross a boundary or two.
For the adults here, I wholeheartedly recommend you to engage with kink SAFELY. Use safe words, have aftercare and, if pain is involved, be careful with managing it.
These terms are not law, and by no means the only ones. These could ease up the pain and issues with atypical dysphoria, plurality and BIID, but at the end of the day, weโre not doctors or professionals.
anti-contact means: against engaging with real content, or physical beings, pertaining to your big 3/5 paraphilias, in a sexual or otherwise exploitative manner
it does NOT mean:
anti-engaging with ANYTHING pertaining to your big 3/5 paraphilias. zoos can still have or work with pets or animals while being anti-contact unless theyre sexually engaging with or exploiting those animals. incestophiles are likely gonna have family members theyre in contact with.
anti-engaging in fiction regarding those paraphilias. thats shipcourse! youre not making contact with any real life vulnerable being by engaging in fiction (including roleplay), therefore its uninvolved from contact discourse
anti-contact ALL paraphilias. the anti and pro contact terminology was born from paraphilias that would be harmful to act upon, built upon the offending and non-offending terminology of the map community, it cannot retroactively be applied to other, harmless (or risk aware n consensual) paraphilias.
please dont take the word of people who think kids or animals can consent to abuse for your ideology. comp and neu-c just means the same as pro-c, its pro-abuse. its pro harm.

a term for anti-radqueers who are anti-radqueer due to ethical concerns. it is technically under radqueer-critical in ideology.
generally, it believes while the internal experiences behind a lot of radqueer terms are valid, deserve a name, and space, when actions or engaging with these topics publicly get brought up it is heavily critical or even against how theyre handled within the radqueer community. it brings light to the ignorance in how certain stuff is harmful or bigoted when acted on, rather than deeming any certain internal identity as "inherently harmful"
in short, it believes while topics regarding radqueer internal identities deserve space, they should be handled with care and with critical thinking by the participants.
it is anti-contact (including consang) pro-para, transid "transitioning" critical, anti-harm (transharmful transitioning, xenosatanism, nccnc/conabuse, fults) and by extent pro harm reduction, anti paraphilias as an inherently queer identity, and MUD-critical. any other opinion is unrelated to being an ethical anti-radqueer, such as ship or plurality discourse.
no flags, no symbols, no fancy name. im tired and I dont wanna have to look up every woobqueer term I come across to decide if they support abusing animals and kids or if they think disordered people should die. so Im saving others the effort by making this straight to the point. still, technically, it is a blankqueer term
Prev Anon here, there is someone saying that they are "taking Arissomei back from Dread".
I am.. unsure how they would go about that because dread hasnt wanted to be associated with the term in a while anyway. if they mean the prefix for the terminology, that is mirror's language, they have no right to do that as upset as they may be, it's like coining something with a jewish person and they decide to name it after their language, later when they dislike the term due to personal reasons (cough, actual physical assault, cough) they ask it to be named something else because they dont wanna be associated with it, but you get upset because "well it already stuck, nothing else sounds as good anyway" etc etc. thats just plain disrespectful
the current owner, (whom I have lost contact with, idk if yans opinion changed) has also stated that he didnt want even derivatives of arisso in it's name, so clearly theyre not comfortable with it either.
I dont know who this is but please let them know this is a bad idea, as much as they dont 'care' abt dread or kirby.
hi I know this is absolutely ancient but I found this whilst trying to find any variety of archive of the original terms, I am going to be very bluntly clear.
We know who did that, they were correct to do it.
Dread gave the prefix Arisso- to the anti RQ community without consent from the other two language creators, and repeatedly ignored them when they said they were not comfortable with the language being used by anti-rqs, because at the time they were both radqueer. (They aren't anymore, but I digress)
They were also never actually physically assaulted, those bruises were photoshopped(we have proof of them admitting this as needed), they were just lying to cover their own ass and get the prefix changed once their actions had actual consequences(them being taken off the creation team for the language and losing their friends in it's community)
Dread also lied. Outright. About what the word meant at all.
Arisso, as a word, means born of the heart / bound to the heart
-mei, as a suffix, means "to dream of".
From my understanding you all were told that you were using words that described the disconnect between body and mind, this is not the case. We have both of the other original creators that can collaborate this.
The person "taking Arissomei back" was one of those two original coiners trying to establish the truth by coming out and restoring the terms, but with the true meanings of the words and the true story of what dread did tied to the blog.
hello, do you have proof for any of this? (heavily preferably in dms)
also Im pretty sure the -mei suffix was something we made up at the time, not connected to the language (thus is kept in dissomei) but Ill need to check my sources on that
Do you have any idea why radqueers are always transjapanese???Like idk what's so interesting about japan
could have smth to do with the mainstream-ification of anime and other japanese media and how they present japan as a culture.
similar (but not the exact same since japan is a real place) to someone really liking fantasy, cyberpunk, or other fictional settings and feeling like they belong there, Id say.
it's concerning to me how people mock radqueers. not because i care about the radqueers but because i think we all need to call the radqueer community what it is. grooming. it's child grooming.
i have spoken to multiple ex-radqueers who were in the community between the ages of 13-16 and all of their feelings were pretty much identical to how i felt about being groomed. other grooming victims i have spoken to about this feel the same way. the radqueer community normalises abusive relationships and present symptoms of abuse and mental illnesses as "transids" rather than something that you can be helped with. you shouldn't care about whether or not it's a psyop or satire because real children are being harmed either way.
the more you just treat being radqueer as some evil thing without emphasising that they are groomers, the more of these kids will worry that their mental illnesses make them bad people and flock to dangerous spaces that claim they understand them better than anyone else.

Hi, it's Uni (aka uni-unrestrained or uniqueer), I don't know if we talked or if you remember me at all but I came across your blog on an alt. I left the radqueer community roughly half a year ago and have since gotten therapy and recovered significantly. Thank you for keeping your blog up to speak about rqs - I feel like a lot of people dont take them seriously & more people should be warned about the danger the community faces to children. It's my deepest wish that all young radqueers can learn to love themselves and break away from toxicity.
oh yeah I remember you!!
Im not very active anymore because certainly its exhausting but I hope to think Im fighting the good fight <:] I may be confusing you with someone else (bc my memory sucks) but I think you publicly exposed my 'undercover' radqueer blog and my discord when stuff was going down. theres no harsh feelings, dont worry, everyone does things like that sometimes and Ive done worse. I dont hold it against you and so neither should anyone else
Im so happy for you that you got out of the community and are more happier. its no easy task to let go of something that people from both sides insist must be so intrinsic to your identity.
it really is my biggest wish as well that everyone can just be happy and comfortable with themselves. actual happiness, not the dopamine that comes from being a part of something thatll just lead you to more harm than good thays prevalent in self harm and similar communities (I dont know how to word it I hope you understandwhat I mean sisjdisi)
I genuinely cant be too upset at anyone anymore because Ive been there. most of the people within are just people at their worst. often kids younger than me. Id much rather help if possible than rub salt on their wound
