Why is Cobs my comfort character?

First off, I do not support Cobs’ actions AT ALL. Coming from a person who suffers family abuse frequently day to day, I don’t like Cobs for how he treats the Mephones. He’s a horrible person.

That being said, I enjoy his character. I think it’s neat. Something about it attracts me to him. I think it’s the fact I haven’t really seen a character like him in a object show before. (I’ve only watched four object shows) I always liked the villains too, so it could be that as well.

I know I’ve already messed up some mutuals I could’ve possibly made just by liking cobs. It hurts to think about, but it’ll happen sometimes. It’s just the Internet.

Being bi and not liking my natural female body, I get gender envy easily. Cobs is an example here. I kin him only for this reason. No abuse or anything. Just because he’s smart and gender envy.

The comfort comes mostly from my biggest comfort ship right now. Toilet and Cobs. That leads to something else to be said

Why do I ship Toilet and Cobs?

The two characters are comfort for me, and from an offhand joke my friend made, it just spiraled down into seriousness. I’ve done many art of it but will never post it due to the probability of getting hate, kicked out of the fandom, or worse like death threats. I only post it on instagram since the fandom is cool with it there.
