The Sass is real!

Where to even start? Oh, oh, I know! Since I am going to be using this little ole blog to express myself, (get out the rage), I should probably change some names around huh? Keep things nice and anonymous, haha. So here is my list of “characters” for reference!  My life ‘characters” Me: Mamasuras, Fatfabulous, ChucklesMcGee (Hehe) Fiance: Fabio (Because he is glorious to me!) If anyone else arises then I shall add them to this list for reference! Sharing is caring, right? Well, sanity it will bring for me so look forward to writing for you all soon!!

So I haven’t made a post in a hot minute. Quite a bit has been going on around these parts. Whew, stressful.  I guess I’ll start with what’s been going on the past few days. So Karen went on a three day trip to the beach with her boyfriend. During her time away she texted me and the fiance to ask if we’d go on a trip to the beach if she got us one. After discussing it we told her yes to which she told us she’d just give us X amount of money to rent a place since she didn’t know where we wanted to go or for how long. The fiance was skeptical of his mother just as much as I was but after she said there was no catch we booked a place for a week in September. Once Karen returned home she asked about where we were going and when to which we told her. Keep in mind I am absolutely blown away by this sudden gesture of kindness from her. So then we got notices in the mail about renewing our lease on the house. I found this to be incredibly strange given I was under the impression that we signed a two year lease. We were specifically told by Karen that it was a two year lease. I know this isn’t something my mind made up because both sets of my parents remember me telling them we’d be here for two year. We were planning on saving up to find a place of our own given some information that we found out in regards to Karen. I quickly inform my fiance and he speaks to his mother about it.  This woman is going to tell him: “We can stay another year if you want.” We would have NEVER agreed to plan a vacation if we knew we’d have to move this year because we definitely wouldn’t have the funds to accomplish all given our new car payment. Especially not given that the lease is due to renew the THIRD OF AUGUST! That’s like two months from now!? This makes me think that this sudden offer of money was for something different. If she knew that the lease was only for one year and knew we were going on vacation in Sept, why wouldn’t you say something? Don’t you think it’s strange that we’d plan a vacation so close to when we’d have to be moving? I truly believe that she was setting us up for failure.  Some might say that is wasn’t her fault that we didn’t remember or know. Right. However, she is the one that told us, initially, it was a two year lease. This stayed with me to the point that I would have bet every single dollar in my checking account that we’d be here for two years. Given the information we found out about her, to know she’d wait two months and still not saying anything about moving is a low blow. That’s hardly enough time to plan a move when you have a child to think about.  In the end we got it worked out where we will be staying another year in which time we’ll be saving up to find a place of our own. It’s become very obvious that staying together isn’t going to work out. She talks about how she loves living with her family in front of others but that same energy definitely isn’t projected at home. Why continue to stay with people that aren’t interested in us being around anyway? Looks like it is time for everyone to find new homes. Good times.

You just have to love when you finally realize just how two-faced the person you live with truly is... So Sassa came over today with her lovely girlfriend to pack up the rest of her things from her room. They were both unaware of the fact that Karen was home asleep given she works the night shift. They were not overly loud because I couldn’t hear much besides the tap gun as they tapped boxes shut. Well Karen woke up and came downstairs all pissed off. Huffing and puffing about them packing up the room. I get it. You work. HOWEVER! You can’t expect everyone in the house to revolve around your schedule, especially if a few of them don’t even know it. Fuck I have a hard time keeping up with it. Well after Shauna spoke to Sassa, she also had an attitude, an apology text was sent. Given both of them have iphones she could tell that it was read but no response ever came. Shitty, I know. It wasn’t as if they purposely came over to fuck up your sleep. They genuinely didn’t know and today was their day off. Not to mention any other day they’d still have fucked up her sleep given she works nights.  At least she apologized over it. Though as me and Sassa spoke in the living room it came to light that Karen has been looking to move out once the lease here is up. We haven’t even been here a year yet. We currently have a two year lease on this house. Lovely, right? I mean it will be wonderful not living with her anymore considering she bitches about literally everything. I don’t understand how someone can have that much to bitch about. It isn’t like we live in complete filth but we DO have a toddler.  A toddler is like a tornado of destruction when it comes to a house. LOL. Still, I keep it clean as a SAHM. However, I refuse to scrub the floors on a daily basis or have everything sparkle when the sun hits it just right. Those are unrealistic expectations when trying to keep a tiny human alive. I suppose she wasn’t as ready to live with a toddler as she let on in the beginning. Perhaps she simply just doesn’t like that it isn’t her way around here constantly. Unfortunately when you only pay half the rent you don’t get to have it your way ALL the time. That’s not fair. It just kills me that she acts like this perfect loving person and yet it’s totally different from the inside looking out. It appears it is time to go looking for a house. Cheers to that, right?

I love when Karen makes facial expressions that shows how she really feels about something. So little Raptor is a year and a half now, will be two in September. Well we had originally got one of those little plastic seven dollar kiddie pools from walmart when she was small. Unfortunately I believe she has grown out of that now not to mention it is cheap and nearly breaks trying to pour the water out of it. So I have been looking for a nicer pool for her to play in when it gets a bit warmer and today I found one! It is a kiddie pool that is big enough to fit an adult too with a sun shade that goes over it all for thirty bucks!! Pools are expensive so I jumped on it because why not? Good deal and all.  Well Karen came down to go to work and seen the tarp I bought to put on the ground because the pool is blow up. I explained I got a pool for her because she’d outgrown the other one. When I mentioned her out growing the other pool this woman made a fucking face like she disagreed with that statement. Excuse me ma’am...I can’t even tell you the last time this woman changed Little Raptor’s diaper or clothes or even played with her! Stay in your lane Karen.  If you don’t want anything to do with her then don’t you worry about the pool I got her so she can have fun with me at home during the day. You just worry about the THREE vacations you’re going on this year that we didn’t even get invitations to. Yet bet your ass if WE planned a vacation she would expect an invitation to it or be offended that we didn’t. She’s so damn irritating I swear.

Sooooo, I can’t understand how one single person can be so dramatic. Shauna has always been dramatic but it seems that she keeps topping herself with each turn. I have to sit back and ask myself if I was THAT dramatic at nineteen or not? I don’t ever remember being so but that was a bit back now.  She had another CNA test today because the first one she took, a year ago now I believe, she failed it. It happens. I suck at taking tests so I know how it feels. Well she has known for about a month now that she had this coming and if she failed it then she’d be losing her job. She kept going on about being confident in it but that doesn’t mean you stop studying for it. I believe the lack of studying and focusing on her social life is what did it.  Now I get it’s her life and I have no say in it which is why I don’t add my nose in with my opinion to her. However, she came home all upset believing that she failed it today. What does she do? She decides since it is likely she will be losing her job to go to the beach for the day and blow her last check. Great idea right? Remember that she hasn’t yet received the actual results back. Also I should add in that it is at least four hours in one direction to reach the beach, AT LEAST.  Why not just buy a container of ice cream and eat the whole thing like a normal person? No, lets go blow our money when we are about to potentially not have a job. A++ on that plan.  The daily dramatics in this house is unreal, I swear....

Boy oh boy. So most of the stuff Karen and Shauna do I just bitch about and move on. Isn’t that what most of us do anyway? Well let me tell you right now, I was HOT the other night. So Thursday Austin and Lila decided to come for a visit. It has been a hot minute since the last time they’d come and I was super excited to see them. Everyone here adores them...or so I thought.  We are having a great evening just hanging out. So much tea is exchanged between us all. It is fantastic. Well fast forward to me going to pick up Fabio from work and Austin and Lila so graciously offer to watch the Little Raptor. I let them and while I was gone [40 mins total give or take] Shauna and Karen must have come home. Lila proceeds to tell me, after Karen leaves for work, that this woman had the AUDACITY to tell my brother and his girlfriend that I need to start taking my child out places or she won’t have an immune system. Like we are not STILL IN A WHOLE ASS PANDEMIC! What makes it even worse is that Karen is a fucking NURSE!? But I guess that taking the Little Raptor outside and to the park, letting her lick everything, isn’t enough to build up her immune system right? Perhaps it wouldn’t have been so bad if Karen had the balls to say this stuff to my face but she doesn’t. I guess she thought by telling my family that they would say something to me which would change my mind on the matter? Sorry babe but still my kid so I decide when I want to take her into crowded packed places, not you!  THEN....yes there is even more to this glorious night... So we are all sitting in the living room having a nice time talking and such when Fabio gets a text from Karen. This text goes on to ask us to be quite because Shauna is trying to sleep since she has to be up at 5am. Keep in mind that Karen is at work at this point in time and Shauna is right upstairs. So you mean to tell me that she texted her mommy to tell us to be quite instead of just texting her brother directly? Like she does literally ANY other time she needs something? Okay I guess. Well we quite down a bit and then Fabio goes upstairs since he wasn’t feeling the best. Little Raptor proceeds to have a full blown meltdown and if you have a child you know that it takes a minute to calm down toddlers in meltdowns. Right after she stops her wailing Shauna comes down stairs with a bag, doesn’t say a single word to any of us, grabs her keys and leaves. Great manners, right?  Now I know some of you might say that it was fine for her to be made since she had to be up at 5am for work. Normally I would agree if it were not for the fact that she’s stayed up well after midnight with us before knowing she needed to be up early for work. Not only that but the next day she needed to be up at 5am for work as well but that didn’t stop her from going out and staying out till after midnight. Is it my business what she does with her time? No, no it isn’t but what is my business is her being fucking RUDE with my family here over her needing to be up early when the very next day she can be out till the ass crack of dawn but need to be up early as well.  GRRR.  Before I get any bad comments. I’m allowed to rant. I’m allowed to be mad. So go for it, you’ll probably made a guest appearance in the next post lol.  Have a great day all you sassy people! 

So we have another day of MIL buying stuff to protect things against her granddaughter but not actually spending time with her granddaughter. Great, huh? Okay, a little background information. So we live with Karen and Shauna, Sassa use to live with us but she is moving in with her new gf, and we did such because it is cheaper paying rent when it is split. We stay in a nice house in a wonderful neighborhood which we couldn’t do on our own, sadly. Alright, back to my rant! So Karen never spends time with Little Raptor. Granted she is a nurse BUT that doesn’t excuse the OBVIOUS lack of time spent with Little Raptor. Especially for someone who was so damn thrilled to be able to live with her granddaughter, bullshit. But she works long hours Sassy Mamasuras, that should count for something, right? No, I say no because every single moment she gets to herself she is spending with her boyfriend. So, you can spend all this time with your boyfriend but you can’t with your ONLY grandchild? Yet she complains about how Little Raptor wants nothing to do with her but doesn’t acknowledge that fact that it is her OWN doing. Whew chile, I could go on for days about this subject alone because it really fires me the hell up! Maybe I’ll do a series, who knows? I doubt anyone will ever read any of this but it sure does feel good to just rant about it!  Buckle up sweethearts...the ride is just beginning!
