are your scans from books/magazines? I dont know how to find any photos from editorials and immerse myself in fashion :(

Hello! 99% of the scans I used to post here are vintage back issues of So-En that I scanned at the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Gladys Marcus library periodicals section. If you are ever in NYC, you can make an appointment at the library to do so as long as you say you’re researching something specific (and if you do that you should also visit the FIT museum-- it’s fucking free!!!!!! open to the public!!!!! and easily on par with the Met’s fashion exhibits!!!!). If you’re looking for easier access to vintage fashion media, check out @archivings and the FashionChannel youtube.

yesterday, i turned on the word swap browser extension for the first time in a number of months without remembering what keywords i had affected. just now remembered that i set it to change the word “women” to “ghosts” & “men” to “terrorists”
