It's my 1 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳

Well dang!

Alot has happened as far as my life. At this point I'm still building up to voice implant surgery due to scar tissue.

Learning ASL has saved my life. If I hadn't learned this would have been 2 years of being completely unable to communicate without a talking board, phone, or pen.

With ASL, I can sign with folks, advocate for myself with the help of an interpreter at doctor's offices.

I don't need to rely on outside help as much because I can access the systems set up by Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Mute and Autistic community.

I can even sign to music and that has brought me immense joy.

And I have my Google pixel five

It's still naked without one case

But it's what I write with

What I talk with

And like Austen

She would write these novels in secret,

On the fly

Pretending they were letters

I wonder if she had cute stationary

She seems like a girl's girl

And my Beloved

Has their thicc thighs save lives against my booty

Their tummy against my back

Their snores better than any sound machine

Cause it tells me they're here

And I'm still here

Despite being trafficked as a child

Despite being abused

Despite being exposed to a pesticide that gave me stage 4 throat cancer and my voice box having to be removed

I'm still here and my Beloved is behind me

Snoring away
