Hereâs the thing: if 911 was in more capable hands, I think Iâd be fine just enjoying it for whatever it wasâwhether that was full camp/disaster of the weeks or drawn-out found family supportive arcs. The problem is, Minear cannot get a script together early enough to save his life, plans nothing in advance, so we sort of end up with these really intense stories that were told to expect to see the fallout for and then they go nowhere; but we also donât just get to enjoy the week-by-week shenanigans either because thatâs not the focus and it just highlights how very little development had actually happened for these characters in 10 years, though some much more prominent than others.
