I have my talents.
Iâd like to think that itâs a bit of both actually. Why not give it all youâve got when youâve finally got your chance? Itâs either that or keep practicing them in the mirror.
Lucas watched her carefully, the amused smirk on his lips when he knew that he was pushing where he didnât belong in a place that he should have been more grateful had taken them in at all. But every time she made a job at his leadership skills, questioned the type of man that he was, he couldnât deny that it got him a little hot under the collar and sharp on the tongue.
Is that what you think happened, is it? Iâm sorry. I didnât realize that us coming to bail you out from being dead in the water here. Thatâs cool. Theyâll be safe here as long as theyâd all like to stay. As for you though, I wouldnât test my compassion again. Youâre sitting on two strikes right now, and the third is when I get real fun.
