Summary: Jade gets drunk and Reader takes care of her.
Warnings/Info: all characters are at least 18, underage drinking (since it's only allowed at 21?I dunno), one swear word?, kissing?, Fluff.
Drunk. That's your girlfriends current state right now. You both went with the rest of your friends to a party. Jade being her stubborn self, simply didn't listen to you, when you warned her to take it easy. Being pissed at her dad, she drank shot after shot and finished it with some vodka.
“I told you to take it easy babe” you lectured her. Both of you were in your room right now, with her laying on your bed. Her eyes hooded and unfocused. She looked like a mess. A hot mess, though.
“Bite me” she snarled trying to sit up, but failing miserably. Her body falling back onto the bed, arms covering her face as she groaned. You could tell that she was already starting to regret all the alcohol.
You made your way back to the bed, with some advil and two bottles of cold water, putting the advil and one of the bottles on your nightstand for later and helping Jade to sit up, so she could drink properly. After Jade drank some water, you helped her to lay down and laid on your side next to her. Her (fake) lashes were hanging a bit off and her lipstick was slightly smeared.
And yet, she still looked beautiful.
You gently tugged at the fake lashes, afraid of hurting her. But she just yanked the other one off, handing it to you. You were gently removing her makeup. Starting at her lids, moving to her forehead, then her cheeks and chin and lastly removing the lipstick off her lips.
It was new for you, taking off her makeup, since you never had to do it before. But she was drunk and there was no way for you letting her fall asleep with it.
This whole time she was, surprisingly, peaceful. Her eyes were closed, but opened when she felt the wipe on her lips. She was looking at you with something like gratitude and love in her eyes.
Jade never had someone before to take care of her like that. With your adoring eyes, that held all of your love for her, looking at her face.
“I'm sorry” Jade mumbled, looking away from your eyes. It seems that she sobered up a little.
"Wha-" she cut you off, before you could ask her why. She looked at you this time.
"I'm sorry for snarling at you y/n, I didn't mean-"
"I know you didn't mean that baby, you love me too much for that" you said, making her smile at that.
"don't worry, okay?" you said peppering her smiling face with kisses, until she took your face in her hands and started kissing you slowly. You deepened the kiss, both of you only breaking apart after needing some air.
Both of you were still smiling at each other and shared little kisses in between.
"I love you y/n/n, thank you for taking care of me baby" she said breathlessly against your lips. You smiled at her, your heart still fluttering, everytime she tells you that. You are the only one, who she lets see and feel this gentle and loving side of her.
"I love you too Gorgeous, so so fucking much. I'll always be there for you, never forget that Jade." you kiss her again, seeing the happiness in her eyes as she gets closer to you and nuzzles her face into your neck, leaving a kiss there.
You hold her and kiss her temple before putting a blanket over you two, starting to let sleep take over you both. Happy being with your girlfriend.
