You don’t seem very healthy right now, girl.

She cheered up after I gave her the medicine. I think the “friend” here is Poncho. I actually haven’t seen him out and about much, maybe he’s sick too (that would be suspicious!!) and that’s why he couldn’t be the one to deliver medicine. I wouldn’t know, I’ve been neglecting him and Dizzy.

I stopped to chat with Apollo. Honestly, I think I would be mostly fine living alone forever. Maybe. I think Apollo for sure would, but maybe one day he’ll find someone to soften that cranky heart of his…

Gracie was in town! She’s hilarious, but I’m mad at her. I thought my fit was pretty cute! Fluffy shirt, bunny hood… it technically matches, too?

She hated it. I feel like I’m talking to RuPaul. She gave me a subtle print shirt, which I thought was actually boring. Then she started going off about how she could style me for the right price. I gave her 5k bells (idiot!!!!!), she was very pleased, my character did a little flip, and…

Is she fucking with me? I’m not kidding when I say I literally yelled “OH!” out loud in real life. I quickly changed back, sold the Afro and the shirt. At least Goldie seems happy.

I was just thinking that Tangy doesn’t seem to socialize with the other villagers, but then Savannah went and said this. Good for them! I love a normal/peppy friendship.

Also, Goldie is healing! She wanted me to come up with a new catchphrase, but I refused. It’s just too much pressure. Her response was really nice, though!

I started the evening off with some chores. Dug up three fossils, donated them all. Got coffee. Stopped by Nook’s to sell some items and see what he has.

I bought the baby bear, obviously. Maybe tomorrow he’ll sell a papa bear.

I almost forgot. Goldie wrote back.

Seems like she wants to leave all that stuff with Mallary behind her. She’s chillin’! Good for her. She gave me a Peach, which reminded me that since I have a shovel now, I can bury that and a couple other fruits I’ve received as gifts. Another peach and an apple.

I went to visit Pate. She was sick, so I ran back to Nook’s to buy medicine for her. That pumped her up.

She seemed mad. Maybe she was hoping Poncho would have stopped by instead. I really like Pate, I hope everything works out for her.

Then I stopped at Goldie’s, which was interesting.

I fear this may be another symptom of her relationship with Mallary. Woof. Poor girl. Sounds like she’s not chillin’. Healing can be a long process!

I’ve been thinking a lot about their relationship since I last posted. Mallary giving me that dog house, then the torture chair… Goldie wanting to move out soon after, changing her mind, then Mallary moving out instead…

I think they might have had a complex, potentially damaging relationship. Because Goldie was rude to Pate, I was starting to dislike her. But maybe that was a symptom of her relationship with Mallary. How long did she have to spend in that dog house? Was the torture chair part of it? Did Goldie stand up for herself for the first time last night during an argument with Mallary? Did she realize that Mallary should be the one to move out, not her? Was that “Happy now…” at the end of Mallary’s letter actually a reference to Goldie?

Unless Goldie responds to my letter, we may never know.

In lighter news, Poncho and Pate seem to be pretty close. Earlier today I’d delivered a letter to Poncho from Pate, despite the latter being right outside of his house. In case there’s anybody that hasn’t caught on yet, everyone in Sapphist is a lesbian.

Savannah ditched the catchphrase I gave her. Maybe she thought it was tacky. She wouldn’t be wrong. I don’t think I’ll be doing that again. After I told her the size of my house was “all right,” this is what she said. She’s so nice!

No wonder she doesn’t want to walk around shouting dyke.

Lastly, Goldie, for the third time, has informed me that she collects clothing. I bought a flowery shirt for her and she seemed to like it. I know she’s just using me. If she’s such a collector, shouldn’t she be buying everything? Maybe Mallary took all her clothes. Maybe she’s broke from buying clothes to replace the ones Mallary stole from her. I’m sorry, Goldie.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! What does that last part even mean? I'm not happy! I'm devastated!! Maybe if I had just let Goldie move without saying anything this wouldn't have happened. Maybe if I remembered to mail my letters last night, Mallary would still be here. I can't believe this. I thought we were closer than that. Oh god.

By the way, the villagers I have at the moment are Tangy, Goldie, Poncho, Dizzy, Apollo, Savannah, and Pate. The only one I don't really care for is Dizzy. I love elephants, but I don't care for lazy villagers unless they're cats, and I just think his design is boring. But we don't discriminate in Sapphist, so I still talk to him everyday and help him out if he needs it. Actually, I don't care for eagles, either, but I like cranky villagers, so that cancels out Apollo's faults I guess...

I also got a big dot shirt from Tom Nook in the mail. I bought this from my catalog because Tangy was asking for one yesterday. For the second time. I don't know what she did with the first one. Probably spilled mustard on it.

Before doing anything else, I ran over to the town hall to mail these letters. I ran into Dizzy and Apollo having a conversation, but while trying to eavesdrop, I kept pouring water from my watering can onto them instead. They both walked away happy, so it must have been a good time.

Dizzy called me L-rock, the nickname Apollo came up with for me. That's fine. He also said this, which was not fine. I would love to aggressively dig up fossils, but Tom Nook has yet to sell a shovel, because he hates me and wants me to suffer and remain in debt to him forever. Even though it's because of ME that his store's been upgraded already. Bastard. Speaking of, let's go see what he has for sale.

Oh.

He also had a mama bear for sale, so I snatched that up, leaving me with 55 bells. That was bad timing because Able Sisters had a post-op patch for sale!!! I'll return to buy it after I've made my daily fruit/seashell run.

Let's go back to our conversation with Dizzy real quick. He had this to say about a couple of Sapphist's villagers.

I kiiiiind of agree with him. We shouldn't put so much emphasis on appearance! But we do live in a society, and Dizzy doesn't seem to understand that, so I think he should keep his mouth shut. Also, we live in Sapphist town. Maybe they're going out on a date.

After running a quick errand for Pate, I stopped by Tangy's house to drop off her big dot shirt. She was thankful, but "m-i-i-i-ght" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. That's fine. I just don't want her to move out the way Mallary did. I miss Mallary so much already.

On the 20th, Sapphist town was born. I hadn’t played WW in a long time, and was pleasantly surprised to see that some of the villagers tell you their sign in their introductions. I think Scorpio probably fits Mallary. I’m a fan of astrology, but not an expert. Also I’m an Aries. Also I love snooty villagers.

Mallary took pity on me and gave me her doghouse. I’m not sure what this means. Goldie lives here, and she is a dog. What are the implications of this? Did they have something going on? Does this have to do with why, a few days later, Goldie was packing to move?

Tangy desperately needed new clothes, so I gave her the turnip dress I started with because I knew it would look cute on her. Later that day, she got mustard on it and needed a new dress. Geez. This would be a common reoccurrence. She’s lucky I like her.

March 22nd was Yay Day! Nothing much to say about this, just thought it was cute. Everyday is Yay Day for me. Yay! Actually, a couple villagers didn’t understand the compliments I gave them. They weren’t anything weird, just “strong” for Poncho and “sweet” for Goldie. Maybe they have low self esteem.

Speaking of low self esteem, our local futch, Pate, was talking to Goldie about becoming an idol. The latter told her she had to be cute to make it, which Pate reasonably took as a dig. How rude! I told Pate that she’s totally cute, and Goldie agreed. That made Pate happy, but it kind of tarnished my image of Goldie.

Later, Pate wanted to see my house, so we had a hangout session. She was not a huge fan. Maybe it’s because of the torture/lab chair Mallary gave me? Why does Mallary have so many weird furniture items? All that being said, Pate gave me 3 out of 5 stars. That’s not so bad.

Savannah wanted me to change her catchphrase because ‘y’all’ was getting old, apparently. I don’t really like doing this because I can never think of anything good on the fly, but I’ve found that refusing seems to upset them a little. Plus, it gave me this gem.
