They burry their head in their hands, sliding their palms into their hairline

"Alright.. you're right. No use trying to damn myself to somewhere that doesn't exist because I'm upset.

I'll... I'll make it up to the people I failed. This second chance at life... I won't waste it. I've got plenty more shots to take, and I plan to hit the mark on all of them. I owe them all that much."

They look up at The Doctor, new passion in their eyes. Their expression seems a little lighter than before. He even smiles

Now that I think about it, I do remember Camille. I was something of a slacker at L-corp so I never got familiar with many people. Our late friend Christopher worked in Records! He was talkative and kind, so maybe he would have actually known some people in his department?

My late friend Dakota used to work in training! She was a tad infamous for getting way too attached to the abnormalities, always going on about their awful treatment. She was nuts, but I miss her dearly."
