I don't even like dance Au's and it doesn't even make sense with Andrew and Neil.

But, but...

Think about this for a minute. Tango. But not just any type of tango, because you see the original Argentinian Tango was firstly made for male pairs, meaning that many years ago, even before the whole image of tango as a seductive and sexual dance between male and female, the tango was only danced between a two male couple as an image of elegance and manliness while being seductive and full of emotion.

So, I bring you this, the idea of Andrew working his way through his issues with physical touch by slowly navigating dancing lessons with Renee, his best friend and also the owner of the dance studio they practice on. Until one day, Kevin appears with a redhead under his arm claiming that the kid had an amazing talent and that he deserved to train with them for tango competitions.

Andrew doesn't give a shit about competitions but he is curious enough about the stranger to stay around for a bit. So he stays. He stays long enough to figure out that Neil, the guy, not only has incredible dancing skills but that he also has the same look that Andrew sees every time he catches glimpses of himself on the studio mirror, the raw desperation of needing to transmit everything through the steps while painfully retreating to himself every time it's too much.

So Andrew stays, curiosity overflowing with every look and stare they share, and later on with every touch and dance they steal from each other. But then Neil also stays and by some miracle or pitiful joke of destiny they stay together. They dance together ,and learn to be together, and through a hard path of given and earned trust they decided to try tango as a couple.

But you see, the hard thing of the tango is not only trusting your partner , is also the amount of passion that is transmitted in physical touch from one person to the other.

It's an extremely intimate dance, a burning seduction between two people and it takes Neil and Andrew a long time to feel safe and comfortable enough to do it.

But when they do it, when they finally get to a point where they trust and enjoy each other through the tango, it's just so special for them. It symbolizes how far they have gone in their lives and how they can share something so important with each other.

Because I need physical evidence of what I'm saying I'll put a video of a male couple dancing tango that reminds me of them so that you guys get the idea of it .
