Ciel enjoys numerous kinds of desserts and sweets, it’s rather difficult to pick only one. Variety is always good, isn’t it? A few that come to mind is chocolate mousse cake; raspberry, blackberry, lingonberry crêpes; chocolates filled with bits of walnuts, cashews, almonds, or hazelnut, sometimes peanuts; tarts; blackberry mousse tuile; and many more! They’re wonderfully accompanied with different flavors of tea. Or a cup of hot cocoa mixed with black coffee.

Of course loving tea, and coffee either with hot cocoa or mixed in caramel… desserts and sweets are just as good with a glass of milk.

    Out of everyone who could’ve filled this spot, it had to be himself who doesn’t know jack. Gem healing? Alignments? The rest of this crap? Nope, don’t know a single thing. Only an idiot would ask for Ciel, the selective mute, to assist in this kind of business.

    The sign outside read “The only payment is a smile!” That’s what works for the business owner, not Ciel. There’s a factor to consider that the customer won’t be happy. The owner could turn a frown upside down with encouragement or whatever else that they do, not Ciel. This is absolutely the worst idea placing responsibility of a stranger’s happiness onto a depressed kid. A poorly executed plan to “help” this teen meet people.

    Staring up at the darkening sky, the teen reminiscences of then. All of childhood spent with a twin sister and their grandparents who filled in the roles of parents. In music and entertainment, Ciel’s twin sister practiced ballad and singing. As did Ciel, but was to be a pianist prodigy. The pair of twins were heading towards a promising future, then Soleil fell sick. That wasn’t going to hold her back, and time at home she learned to illustrate.

    Life wasn’t heading to something promising and secure. Their grandparents fell deceased years after, and soon so did Soleil. Life fell apart, robbed from anything good. Ciel’s mind dyes white and it seizes away fond memories, just like the lives seized away of loved ones. What the future could’ve been became erratic.

    「What you going to do?」A familiar someone motions.

    There are no plans. There aren’t any goals. Ciel slumps and shakes his head. ‘I don’t know what I’m going to do. There’s nothing in mind.’ he answers.

    「What about piano? I loved hearing you play.」The familiar someone brings up.

    Ciel disagrees. ‘You can’t hear me play. You can’t hear anything. What’s the point? I lost my love for it.’ Looking up, he sees a frowning girl hold a hand to her chest.

    ‘I’m really sorry, I didn’t mean to… I didn’t know you’d get upset.’ The girl doesn’t answer. Tears form in his eyes, and in a blink, she’s gone.

    Head raised, he sighs. It’s the truth, isn’t it? A passionate flame blown out, Ciel contemplates while following the sidewalk. Fingers that can’t glide against the keys, he picks up speed. It only produced horrendous sounds… Ciel jogs. Staring at that damn instrument, they keyboard… It morphs into a grin, mocking me! He runs faster. And so does the jarring sound——!!
