I grew up in tour buses and hotels and touring venues and studios, and I became a woman at 17 when I became pregnant with my son and became independent. I wouldn’t say I had the best taste or that I knew exactly what to do with space, but I can honestly look back and say that I had really clear ideals about architecture and about history.
