I have this thought deeeeep in my head that Tamsy secretly has a desire/yearning to be unraveled and understood by someone, but the constant need for control over everything keeps him gripped up and at an arms length with faux vulnerability.
He’s always been misunderstood his whole life, and so I think the prospect of having someone who could unspin him like a ball of yarn is an exciting and yet horrifying concept for him.
And I don’t mean understood and vulnerable to just anyone, I frankly don’t think he cares much for most people or social stuff, it’s more so the concept of it, the idea of having someone and having that comfortable uncomfortability.
He keeps control over just about everything he can reasonably get away with, but if you were somehow able to catch him off guard and have him exposed,,,,and throw it in his face that you were able to get him that way,,,ouuuhh,, Tamsy you are not fully immune to the human condition, even if you are sociopathic on the DL 🤤🤤
YEESSSS anon this is beautiful. his identity being misunderstood ad nauseam, starting from the day he was capable of forming words is what infuriated him the most. it rendered him stranded in the middle of a silent sea—alone and isolated. but he’s learned to live with it. learned to rid himself free from the burden of resentment.
it isn’t until you appeared is when his desire to be understood started to flourish. you know him, like you were there with him on the day he first felt the dull tip of ostracism stab his heart. you bask him in your coos and praise. tell him how strong he is and how worthy he stands.
tamsy loathes it. he fucking hates how your words make his skin crawl and throat tighten.
he can feel the expanse of his body slowly curl around your finger, subtly yearning for the warmth that radiates from the pads. it makes his stomach churn with bile.
but in spite of it all, he finds his adrenaline build in sick excitement.
