After returning from Christmas Island, I had a week ‘off’ (aka getting laundry done, getting things unpacked and put away) . Eh, not great.  Been wiping down and dusting 4 cameras. Two pocket sized point and shoots, and one slightly larger one, and a micro 4/3s, and one mirrorless full frame. I have switched from Chrome browser to Brave. I ditched Chrome because of their habit of disabling addons that were no long on their webstore, or didn’t have adware it.  Brave installed, and install all those addons, even the ones they no longer have because the violate their policies (aka no adware, no paid for content etc). Yeah, they said they sent out emails, and posted it on their own blog, but I got it, and I looked through all my email accounts, including spam folders. With no warning, TypePad closed up. I found out by trying to post to it, as usual, and got some error message. Starting back in the 1990s, there was a comic strip, titled “User Friendly”. I would visit it every day, and submit “Links of the Day”.  A couple of times, that site would get overloaded. Good times. With Chromes latest update, too damned many of my extremely useful extensions were disabled for the ‘crime’ of not being filled with adware or trackers. And none of the ‘replacements’ on Chrome Web Store even close to being as useful. I have had enough of it. After a few hours of self-tech support, I have installed BRAVE browser, exported all my Chrome extensions into their own directory. Then…

The elder care person I’ve been assigned. She is such a sweet lady.  Seems without lose of energy, to vacuum, then mope, and then select an area I haven’t been able to tackle.  Sometimes, she exhausts me with her energy.  Don’t get me wrong. Prior to her coming here, you didn’t want to wipe your feet after you left, but it needs a good cleaning. Alan and Wing tidy, but they don’t clean things.…

But I’m not. For the past two weeks, I have been keeping up with the scheduled exercises at him, as much as I can. I don’t have the reformer, or pulley set up, but I do have free weights. 3 sets of 10, every other day.  Not just Monday, Wednesday and Friday. But also Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.  I might take the up coming weekend off as I had one helluva painful shoulder blade lock up…
