you attract: adventure

breathing against your lover's back as you rest after a long hike up the mountain to watch the sunset; impromptu car rides in the middle of the night that lead you to nowhere and everywhere at once; leaping over fences and gates to hold each other in your arms. you attract adventure. you're the type to say yes before thinking of it. you have a look in your eyes that people find themselves nodding along to, if only to hold onto your attention for a little longer. you hate having to wait, and yearning brings you to almost a state of frustration for you have so much to give. you want to love now, for if you don't love, you feel a sort of emptiness that no adventure can fill. hold on tight, my dear, for your love is waiting for you, too.

fire as knowledge

the gods punished Prometheus for giving fire to humanity because they knew the power that knowledge held. Fire, here, is less about heat and more about light. Illumination is the most necessary thing—you experience the world by watching, voraciously, always looking for the most fascinating thing that you can experience. You value being a jack-of-all-trades, and when you find something that grabs you, you’re all in, at least for a little while. This zest for life is valuable, but it also makes you flighty, restless. You may have trouble sticking to things once their shine has worn off. Your constant search for a higher purpose makes you susceptible to missing out on things that you wouldn’t have if you had just slowed down a little bit. Don’t forget to make an effort to turn that intense, thorough focus onto the good things you already have. Stop making everything a race.

earth as physicality

There is a reason that remembering you who are is called grounding. You are the feeling of digging your heels in so you can stand stronger, and every other feeling that says “This is where you belong.” To you, what is ultimately most important is what is real, steady, reliable. You value permanent things that you know you can count on more than experiences you know will be temporary, and love, for you, is about trust and consistency. You desire authentic experiences, and deep, intimate connections with other people. However, your tendency to focus on your own experiences sometimes gives you too narrow a worldview. Remember that others’ opinions are worth taking into account, even if understanding them takes some effort. Meeting people halfway isn’t a sign of weakness.

             Seriously? How did this guy seem to show up everywhere? One foot on his opponent’s chest, Shota stared–or glared, dealer’s choice–at the scruffy man. It was rare for him to cross anyone’s path more than once and this was beginning to feel like a security concern. Who the hell was this guy anyway? But if he wasn’t speaking, neither was Shota. No, he’d just glare back, stock still, the man under his foot all but forgotten if not for the constant pressure he maintained.

He appeared to be unfazed by the filthy boot weighing on him. A boot, and the slimy texture that clearly hadn’t been scrubbed out yet. His brows knit together. Ging didn’t even have to glance down to see it for himself before channeling small droplets of his aura. The deafening silence continues. In moments, multiple droplets of aura take an altered form as they exert with speed and direction targeting the man’s boot. The droplets move lightly. There was no ill intention – the nen simply removed the boot, redirecting it aside. All the while, Ging maintained put in place, and effortless. “Oh,” breaking the silence, “I believe..” a single hand reaches for a fist full of whatever had been smeared all over his shirt, “this belongs to you–” predictably, he returned the gesture, merely smearing the clump on the man’s scarf.
