Energy structures of sufficient complexity can draw out of the universe a force of nature, phenomena not yet understood. A mindscape, a live-giving energy which gives rise to life. These complex structures are neural nets. They exist in the human mind, the mind of the forest, or the eonic pulse of cosmic will.

Some people wonder about my patriotism sometimes. It’s not as though the nation’s flaws are well hidden, but to me it is akin to a parent and child relationship. Even if they walk a shaky path, I can’t abandon them, because I understand the potential and good it could mean to the world.

I almost never love the USA in the moment in my daily life, but dream of a world which embraces its greatest ideals of freedom and democratic process. It’s potential for creation as well as progress.

It’s difficult to explain to someone why they should want to win a game, under any circumstance.

There is, obviously, a difference between trying to win and being ideologically fanatical about ALWAYS winning, I sometimes slip into the latter unfortunately. But it got me thinking about years of playing video games and trying to convince people that didn’t care whether we won or lost a game/match/round/siege whatever; it’s impossible. You can’t instill in someone that dominance mentality if it is not already present.

It reminds me of the phrase popularized by league of legends, “It isn’t just about winning, it’s about sending a message”. Or as my girlfriend and Sterling Archer put it, sometimes you just gotta put your dick on the table. That’s what it’s about, it’s about a harmless expression of that primal ape howl to conquer your foes and stand on triumphantly over their lifeless husks.

The human condition is inherently deceptive, so an altered state is required for truth to reveal itself

I got called an American fanboy today. Which is, for better or worse, accurate.

The reason is because this country’s existence is brilliant. It’s like a giant science experiment in human culture and development. Each state to a degree a sovereign entity to pursue their people’s interests and the resources available to them, each with a mix of people within them; producing a number of possible results and analysis into an incalculable number. Well, probably calculable, but not very easily at all.

The Federal govt is the United Nations of Planet America.

So stoned. Feeling philosophical before GoT.

Existence is the afterlife of nothing. What would the heaven or hell of nothingness? Everything.
