I am an amateur photographer and have been taking pictures avidly for about five years, I have come home from travelling and have decided to dedicate myself to photography and will be attending university to further my knowledge and skills.

My pictures are mostly taken using dslr “nikon d7000” but i love to use film as well “nikon f3” my favourite things to photograph are abandoned buildings mainly asylums and hospitals but i also love street photography and think most of my pictures in that subject give a dark eerie sense of the unknown to my work.

I am quite versatile and take lots of long exposure night shots and landscape, trying to be as creative as possible, i still feel i haven’t found my niche and would love to hear feedback and see what pictures of mine people like the most.

Hi, we’re Brian and Julia, from Washington, DC, two photographers who like to spend time outside, hiking and camping and traveling through Virginia and West Virginia and whichever countries we can when we’re lucky enough. We mostly shoot with a Fuji X100 that we picked up used one day, which we can’t help but love despite its temperament.

I don’t know if we have a style — Julia’s an architect who loves contrast and clean lines, and Brian tends to shoot whatever’s sitting in soft light, or Julia whenever she’s not looking. Mostly we love abstract nature photography, and honest, human expression.
