Angel nodded with a little wrinkle of her nose. “I can’t imagine how it got started, but I’m almost afraid to ask because my Dominant will know and he will tell me in great detail.” She joked. “It’s supposed to improve the flavour or something, but I’ve only ever been persuaded to try blue cheese when I was doing a blindfolded taste test.” The blonde hummed in affirmative to his question. “Old favourites always hit a little differently.”

Sam shook his head, a laugh following. “Oh, no, no. We don’t need to get schooled on cheese today,” he smiled. “It’s cool though. A lot of people enjoy it, so they must have done something interesting,” Sam made a face, letting another smile follow. “They do, but... you know, I always end up picking up cheddar cheese. It’s great on sandwiches and macaroni so... Hard to compete and stuff like that.” Sam shrugged, checking his own basket to make sure he had picked out that very important ingredient - the macaroni.  

Angel laughed. “Yeah it’s actually Penicillium mold, they inject the cheese with it before it’s even properly formed.” The blonde rattled off, parroting some of the information that Vio was always pressing upon her. “Oh um.. depends on the cheese. Not a massive fan of the whole mold thing, but some of the fancier hard cheeses and goat cheese definitely.” She responded, brushing her hair from her face. “Though you can’t really beat mozzarella when it comes down to it.”

While she explained the molding process of the cheese, Sam just nodded and paid attention. He never really searched for the reason really, or cared, but it could be interesting to know the right names now that he was going to a fancy school. “That’s... interesting. They inject the cheese with mold on purpose?” he frowned, confused as to why someone would put mold on food. Mozzarella he knew of, nodding at her. “Yeah, that one is bomb af. It’s really soft, right? And real good too. I guess if I had to pick a favorite, I’d just go with that one and not really try other stuff.” 

Angel frowned as she looked between the cheeses behind the counter, she was more than capable of getting everything on Vios list but it doesn’t mean she understood what half of them were. Turning to the person next to her while she waited for the assistant to wrap up her purchases, she smiled. “Big fan of fancy cheeses?” She asked with a smile, hoping her commentary wasn’t too awkward. @samevansdom​

Grocery shopping after spending a whole week away was definitely a must, and with the extra money he had gotten working extra hours during the pre-summer sale, Sam had decided to get a few nice things. And by nice, it meant he was upgrading from extremely processed cheddar cheese to not so much processed cheddar cheese. He was waiting for his turn when he heard someone, looking down and giving her a while. “Oh, nah. I heard the blue stuff is actually some sort of fungi...” Sam made a face, laughing softly then. “Are you? A fan of fancy cheese?” 

Yes I’m actually claimed to Vio Rizzoli, one of the new teachers, so that means I do know his brother Mars pretty well. I might be biased but I think they’re both some of the best people in the whole world, so I know their classes will be great. That’s absolutely great advice, I should have been more attentive to working out which hot dog stands were attuned with the great wheel of my reincarnations. That’s amazing, I think anyone who can create art like that is just insanely talented. Do you have an idea for a game that you’re working on at the moment? I think I will too, I headed to the Seafoam cafe this weekend and I loved it.

That makes sense! Then I’m pretty sure you can tell how the classes are gonna go this summer. I’m actually excited - last semester was pretty great. See? Sometimes you just gotta pay some extra attention to hot dog stands. You never know what you’re going to find. Once I went to one that a guy claimed there was a ketchup Jesus on one of his buns. Cool, thanks! That’s nice of you. I don’t actually build them... I just work on characters and such. Before summer, I was working with a small company on a game they were developing. Some freelance stuff. Cool! That’s one of the good places for sure. 

I agree, I have insider information that some of the new staff are really great so. Yeah it feels like every corner you go around there, you’ve got someone offering to tell you how you’ll die or a dollar hot dog. That’s cool! What did you study in college. I really do need to get out there and check some of this stuff out because I’ve been told about some great sounding places.

Oh yeah? Insider information? Like, do you know people? 🤔 That’s cool though! Very importante knowledge and very valid hot dogs, so important business you know. You should look for the ones who know for sure who you were on your past life. I majored in Game Design. I do a bunch or graphics and animation, it’s pretty awesome. Yeah, you should! I bet you’re going to have some fun too! 

Oh yeah almost everywhere I go. It’s kind of why I’m just now trying to get my license. I never needed it before. That’s hella right, the heat is no joke. Seems like that’s one thing all of these schools know how to do. I think my favorite one so far though has definitely been Universal, what bout you?

Oh, got it. That’s cool though. You got a cool way to go places. Right? Which is awesome. I mean, I never got to do much of it as kid - or when I was younger even - so now I’m enjoying it a lot. Oh yeah, for sure. This Mexico one was pretty cool, but Universal was a whole trip. And on my birthday. So that one wins. 

Thank you Sir it’s a pleasure to meet you too, it does seem pretty awesome here and I’m sure the school will be just as wonderful. It’s really not like anywhere on earth, I moved there from Philadelphia after I got claimed and I was blown away just how much is always going on there. Are you from New York originally? An arcade sounds fun, I can’t believe how much stuff there is on this small island.

No problem! Yeah, classes were pretty dope on my first semester. So I’m sure these summer ones will be great too. Right? It’s just a lot, all at once, in-your-face, city. No, no. I went to college there. But I’m from Nashville. I was lucky to get a scholarship and be able to move there - to New York. Yeah. There’s a movie theater too. And a bunch of stuff I haven’t been yet. There’s something for everyone. 

The skatepark usually. Otherwise, I’m sitting my ass at home playing video games or watching anime. Oh awesome, if it wasn’t for Noelle, I probably would have done the same. Are you enjoying it so far?

You skate a lot then? ‘Cause that’s pretty cool. And, I mean, gaming and watching anime is a very valid way to spend summer. Especially it being this freaking hot. Yeah, I am. It’s going pretty well. This school definitely knows how to do trips. How’s yours?

Hi everyone I’m Angelica Rizzoli, and I’m new in town. I’m actually a claimed submissive, so I was formerly Angelica Beiste. I’ve been on the  island for about a week or so we’re just about finished moving everything into our new home. It’s definitely a change of pace from New York and Philly, but it’s so beautiful here. I’d love some suggestions of good places to check out around here, and I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Hey! Welcome! It’s a pretty awesome town if you ask me, and a pretty awesome Academy too. And yeah, New York was so much crazier than this... Man, sometimes I think about it and I have no idea how I used to keep up with stuff there. Things here are so chill. I guess it depends what you’re looking for, but I’m a huge fan of the arcade. That’s a pretty dope place. I’m Sam Evans, real nice to meet you.
