Alright! This took me a second but I think I have some good songs picked out.

Say It Like You Mean It - No Resolution

(emotions are distractions you can't trust )

This one is just a fun chaotic song about a toxic relationship. There isn't a lyric page for it so I'm honestly not sure how well it fits but it's fun and I like it.

LUNCH - Billie Eilish

I thought this would be fun, both because it's very sexy to imagine Stefan eating Caroline out, but also because they literally eat a girl together. Plus this line about wanting to be more than friends.

Admit Defeat - Bastille

This one is about caving to someone's (destructive) influence and reminds me of how Stefan successfully derails Caroline's plan, and makes her lose control with him.

Wolf in Sheeps Clothing - Set It Off

This one especially reminds me of them tormenting Matt and Tyler together. Stefan is lethal and slick, Caroline will leave you lonely dying in a filthy ditch

Mr. Hyde - Belén Aguilera

Of course!!!

This song is about a girl who has been best friends with a guy for a while (she has the names of all his exes memorized) and she's asking ... What if we stopped being "best friends?" I think it fits season 5 Steroline quite well, when neither of them is super aware of their feelings but they keep getting closer.

Fools - Lauren Aquilina

Another song about falling in love with your friend. I especially like these lyrics because it makes me think of, first, Stefan watching Caroline during the funeral and realizing he loves her, and second, Caroline telling him at the wedding that she hates who she's become and the things she did because of her feelings for him.

All You Had To Do Was Stay - Taylor Swift

This one is dedicated to Stefan's flight-risk tendencies. Beginning of Season 6, mid Season 7, the brief moment in season 8, and his ultimate decision in the finale. All Caroline wants is for him to stick around but he keeps leaving.

Act 2 - The Ready Set

This song is about rediscovering reasons to live after a major disruption in your life. For me, this captures all the times that Caroline is there to catch Stefan after terrible things. Talking with him about his break up with Elena, helping with his amnesia, post-phoenix stone psychosis, helping find Damon when he goes missing, etc. As he says in their wedding vows, she saved him from despair.

Grow As We Go - Ben Platt
