- Noe: Noe’s “I have tasted it carefully so its okay”, I definitely don’t believe it. (According to friend L) <-the boy with the happy tongue who thinks 8-90% of the food in this world is delicous.

- Astolfo: Hah? Why do I, this mighty have to do the job of those servants?

- Olivier: Cooking? Isn’t that the job of the servants?

- Domi: Cooking? Isn’t that the job of the servants?

- Luka: …To begin with, noone lets me do it.

- Jeanne: More than cooking, eating is more to her interest. In other words, she just loves eating. “Delicious”, or “not delicious”, everything will show on her face. She has a high survival cooking feature.

- Laurent: He can make some simple household dishes but they are pretty tasteless. Also, the cookware is huge.

- Dante: He is good at household dishes and candies. He hops on his favorite candy shop a lot.

- Vanitas: He is skillful so he can make almost everything well. However, apart from some of his favorite things, he does not have much interest in eating. So he thinks it’s okay to just eat enough for himself to move.

Mochijun’s artwork is so masterful. Vanitas isn’t even saying anything, but his expression speaks so much. I can’t even put it into words, but there’s a lot of his character that comes out through his expressions.

Here he looks irritated, but also thoughtful. He’s taken a risk because he’s worried about Noé (although he won’t say it) but we know that he thinks having someone to protect is a weakness. He probably is kicking himself because “Why am I even acting this way for that guy.” But he’s not angry. A little spiteful maybe. At what he’s gotten himself into. At how he’s reacting. The fact that this is the panel where Dante points out his contradicting behavior… well Vanitas seems to be aware enough of his own conduct and behaviour
