My little sweetie pie is 8 months today. Evelyn is crawling now and she is pretty fast. She has gotten really good at pulling herself up to stand. She has been sick with a runny nose and a mild cough but she is such a trooper. Evelyn has been nothing but all smiles even when she isn't feeling good. We just moved into a new home and she is loving her new room. She really likes oatmeal cereal, yogurt and sweet potatoes. She is still the little chill baby that she has always been. Eve loves her school and loves to play with her friends in her class. My little girl is growing and in 4 more months will be a year old. I don't know if I honestly can handle that! Stay little forever!!!!! 😩 She is SUCH a Daddy's girl and definitely has Wes wrapped around her tiny fingers. Hehe. ❤️ Happy 8 months baby girl! 💕#babyevelynmeno

I'm in a Mom Facebook group and today a fellow mama posted a beautiful picture of her sweet baby girl with the caption that her 5 month old passed away in her sleep last night. My heart instantly broke into a million pieces for her. I can't imagine life without Evelyn. I am so thankful and so blessed to have my baby. She brings so much joy to mine and Wesley's lives. There is never a dull moment with her. She makes us have a constant smile on our faces. Reading that Mama's post made me stop and thank God for the greatest gift I have. I will never take it for granted. ❤️ #babyevelynmeno

Thank you to my brave husband for serving in the US Army. I stood by your side through ABOLC, deployment in Afghanistan, numerous field trainings, and when you ended your time in the Army and I will always stand by your side! You make me so proud. This little peanut is 7 months today! Not crawling yet but she certainly does have that army crawl down pat. She prefers to stand now and is trying to pull herself up to stand. She loves to babble. She loves snuggling and is the BEST snuggler. She loves eating solids. Her favorite is peaches. People always told me it gets better and better and it really does. Evelyn is my pride and joy.
