Ade glanced up from the book he was reading, his gaze shifting to the person hovering over his table. He’d been sat in rePUBLIC for the last hour or so, trying to unwind before he headed home – today’s school run had been particularly horrible. “If you want to sit down, you can just ask, you know,” he commented, light smile on his features. “I don’t bite.”

        “Are you sure?” Sally asks, still unsure by the man’s presentation to her. “There doesn’t happen to be anywhere better to sit, most seats are full.” She gestures with a small hand towards the rest of the cafe, impressed by how packed it was. Given, some of the other cafes had been affected by the storm, it was only natural for people to find an alternative.

“No- I’m fine. Just fine.” Sophie mumbled to the person beside her. “I’m drunk, I lost my keys, and somehow I thought it would be a good decision to move back to the one place I swore never to return to. Thank you for asking though.”

        “Are you?” She asks again, a slight slim to her eyes because she doesn’t quite believe the woman. Particularly if she’s drunk. “Perhaps I should call you a ride home...”

Kyra walked into the hospital waiting room and cursed to herself “ Take a month off they said, It will be fine they said.” She huffed and went and sat down waiting for news on her parents who had been driving in the storm. She shook her head and sighed before noticing someone else in the room. “You here for relatives too?”

Porter grabbed his clipboard, where he had made an inventory list, and skimmed through what they had the smallest amount of so far. “Well, we need men’s clothing – sweaters, socks, underwear. We’ve had a lot of t-shirts and jeans donated, but not much else,” he answered, looking up at her with a small frown. “Me either. So much devastation, so much loss thanks to one storm.”

Kitty: Yeah, I guess no one wants flowers. Oh God! Do you want me to come round?

Kitty: Oo, that does sound nice x
