its so awkward when people ask me why i dropped out and i have to be like "inadequate disability support" bc no one wants to hear this. they're always like i thought they had to provide that though isn't it the law? girl you might want to sit down i have some bad news about the litigation-based enforcement of the americans with disabilities act

i think being proud of where you come from is one of those things that becomes fun the more specific you get. like "proud to be english" bad rancid vibes. makes you sound like the kind of person who rants about immigrants. "proud to be from yorkshire" better vibes. i cannot deny the yorkshire cultural heritage. "proud to be from pocklington" absolutely fucking hilarious please never let anybody kill your pocklington pride.

so when i went to see wicked for good i dressed up, right? pretty blue dress, sparkly silver shoes, a few little accessories.
this is a 'going out' outfit. i am getting dropped off at the theater and picked up at the theater, and then i am changing into new clothes.
except.
it was raining when i got outside, and then my ride home was like "okay i want to check out this place first"
so i say okay, but then 'this place' turned into like, six places before i finally get inside.
this whole time. i am in sparkly ass shoes that are not made for long-term wear. i am not accustomed to spending all day in heels. the ends of my dress are black and grey with rain and mush.
(after a wash, the dress survived!)
