he knew kakarots techniques almost like the back of his hand. with how many times they fought like this, trained together, there weren't many surprises the saiyan had left.

.... or so vegeta THOUGHT. but he caught his rival in a merciless chokehold, vegeta grinning that he believed this spar was his to win. but that pride was replaced with pain, body jolting as teeth sunk into his forearm. vegeta pulled back, but not before giving the other saiyan a kick in the ass. he blew on the wound, a worried look before glaring back at kakarot.

"what the hell was that?! have you no honor in battle, that was dirty!"

who was this guy? how did he get in this universe? exchanging blows, vegetas through its ran wild with questions that wereny going to answered anytime soon. kakarot was off planet, leaving vegeta here to fight.

his energy was similar to toppo and daitens, but it felt far more.... overwhelming. mezcal grinned evily, using his powers, electricity cutting through the air. vegeta could only recognize in horror the power decrease, mezcal taking advantage to deliver a hard kick in the ribs, sending the prince flying. he was satisifed hearing the crunch of bones breaking on impact.

vegeta collided hard onto a wall, stuck in a crater of the mountain. he coughed up blood, breathing becoming more difficult. he couldnt fight like this, just what did he do?

mezcal stopped right in front of vegeta, smirking. "where's son goku?I have to pay him back for the tournament."

of course. another villain searching for kakarot. vegeta wasnt one to give in so easily, he would not be saved by the likes of kakarot again. blood was spit at the attacker, only barely missing his target.

"you wont even get a chance to fight kakarot. how dare you believe I'm out for the count!" his energy was returning, suddenly throwing out a blast of energy after pulling his arm out of the crater. dust cleared after a few moments, vegetas eyes widening in surprise.

that was it wasn't it? he destroyed the energy with a hakai barrier. judging by the purple markings on his fur, he was a destroyer in training.

"fine, if you want to be like that..." mezcal held out his paw, a large blast being fired right back. there was no dodging this one, the prince of sayain being consumed by the energy and judging by the sudden drop of ki, vegeta was lucky to get out of this alive.

one punch in the face broke his nose, blood spurting, the prince seething in pain. it was rare the cooler forces linked up with friezas and what a shock it was to find the tyrant had saiyans in his force.

he was the prince. she was meant to follow his orders. but aspara wasnt one to behave under somebody weaker than her, much less be ordered around. vegeta glared at her, angry that she stronger than him. that she refused to listen to her prince.

looking at him, she smirked. "what's the matter, prince vegeta? not so tough without lord frieza behind you, hm?"

"you watch your tongue!" he tasted iron in his mouth, spitting out the blood and prepared to attack and-

her scouter went off. uncaring about vegeta entirely, leaving the prince in shock.

"aspara, we are leaving. meet us at the dock." it was salza, she looked annoyed to hear him but orders were orders. she turned her back to vegeta, a teasing tone in her voice.

"i hope you get stronger, prince. if not, you couldnt even dream to beat lord coolers brother."

pushing his buttons. but he could do nothing but glare as she walked away from him.

fingers grabbed at the broken rocks around him, pulling himself out of the crater slowly. he pushed himself too hard with training, blowing himself up. a rookie mistake. and of course, one of those saiyans caught him.

"im...fine! get lost you little....!" he coughed up blood, body aching as he pulled himself back up to at least a sitting position. he shot a weak glare at her.

"i don't need your help...leave, now."

the saiyan prince lays back in the lounge chair, holding up a book bulma has since recommended. there was to be no training today, how his wife had the nerve to lock up his gravity room. but she insisted he watched her take care of bulla today, something he just had to learn about baby girls.

perfect time for that daiten girl to show up. absolutely perfect for him.

he sighed in exasperation, turning a page.

"do you ever shut up? don't you have any friends? there's a billion people on this planet and you choose to be here, bother someone who cares."

vegeta has proven time and time again hes not the naive type. hes willing to destroy whoever he must for his believed justice and to protect those he cares about.

saiyans never get anything plain words, saiyans fight. and if beating his son down isn't going to make him see the error of his ways, he would destroy him, especially if zamasu had his body. but it would stick with him for a long time, causing him to remind present trunks that he loves his son very much in his own way!
