She was the girl, who asked everyone they were okay, when really she was the one who was breaking.

It was one in the morning when my friend finally decided to ask me a question. “If he was here, what would you tell him?” I tug my bottom lip with my teeth, like I always do whenever i’m nervous. “Well first, I’ll tell him how amazing and incredible he is.” I smile. “That I am so in awe of him and that I really, really admire him.” I stare into the empty space and try to keep my emotions intact. “Second, I’ll tell him I’m inlove him. I’ll tell him how it has always been him.” I look at her and my smile fades away. “But most of all, I’ll tell him how much it hurts to see him. I’ll tell him how much it hurts to love him.” I sigh. “I’ll tell him it hurts because no matter what I do, he’ll never see me. He’ll never love me back.”
