Thatâs when you appear. âOh Toru!â In a moment his teacher is wrapped in your embrace. Yuuji, now worried, gets closer. âSensei are you okay!?â To his suprise Gojo actually looks a little⌠shy? But you swoop in with that doting smile and sweet tone. Even Yuuji fills his anxiety dissipate when you pat his hair. âSatoru can heal himself, but infinity uses a lot of energy! Iâm just gonna get him some protein and let him rest.â You explain calmly.
Yuuji nods. That makes sense for a normal sorcerer, but Gojo is not a normal sorcerer. He waits for his teacher to cut in with his regular boasts of being the strongest. But instead he folds himself to hide his face in your shoulder. âIâm feeling dizzy.â Yuujiâs jaw drops. You croon and rub his back like he isnât the strongest sorcerer on earth. (Just how Satoru likes it.) âMy poor bunny, letâs get you tucked in.â Satoru doesnât even have the tact to hide his smirk this time as you lead him away.
Soon Yuuji finds Megumi. Heâs known Satoru the longest after all. Maybe heâll know the answers. âDoes Gojo ever hide when heâs hurt? Like to show off for us?â He asks, fidgeting with his hood. Thereâs a snort. âNot really. But he acts hurt for sensei Y/N.â
Nanami looks at the envelope you gave him in stunned silence. This must be a joke. Youâre always joking. But his chest tightens (with something other than anxiety) as he unfolds the letter. Itâs handwritten. With doodles and glitter and⌠is that scented marker? This is a lot of effort for a joke valentine isnât it? And whatâs the point of running away before seeing his reaction? You certainly did get away quickly. He soon finds you attempting to hide in a tree. He carefully tucks away the letter in his pocket with a sigh. âCome down.â
âIâm shy!â
âYouâve never been shy in your life.â
âWhy do you think Iâm always silly!?â
Oh. Nanami feels like his world view might be shifting. This whole time you werenât just teasing him? All your over the top flirting and jokes werenât to embarrass him, but to hide your own nerves. He adjusts his tie. âCome down.â

Thereâs a deep sigh. He might regret this but heâs almost⌠curious now. Perhaps he misunderstood you. âWho said anything about rejection?â

The Jedi in Yodaâs vision of a world at peace say so much about who he is.Â
I plan on extensively yelling about Yodaâs visions in the immortality arc in the future, but for now please consider this.
Okay, getting this quick remark out of the way: itâs Katooni (the little Tholothian girl) who guides Yoda there. Children are a symbol of innocence, and whatâs interesting is that Yoda takes her hand without hesitation after seeing all of the Jedi dead (and specifically Mace, Petro and Ahsoka). Throughout this scene here Yoda is the one asking questions and Katooni is the one answering - she speaks slowly and patiently, almost as if sheâs talking to a youngling.
â> The embodiment of wisdom manifested to Yoda (in a vision meant to tempt him through his dearest wishes) is a child. Talk about humility.Â
Now please pay attention to the Jedi in the background.Â
Here, the three Jedi right in the center of the set are Mace, Ahsoka and Petro - the exact three Jedi Yoda just saw dead and cried over (boy, s6 is so much fun, isnât it?). So a significant part of Yodaâs deepest dreams is seeing other Jedi safe. He knows how to let go - thatâs what this whole scene is about - but he still very much yearns for his fellow Jediâs safety and happiness.Â
Onto the even sadder part: have you noticed whatâs going on here? Younglings are playing around, and the older Jedi are all talking. Quinlan with Saesee Tiin, Tera Sinube with Gungi, Anakin with Aayla Secura, and Mace with Ahsoka. And not just talking, look at the gif above! Mace is openly laughing at whatever Ahsoka said.
And Ahsoka looks at him like this. (Again, this is right after Yodaâs vision of her dying, desperately asking how the Council could expel her.)
One of Yodaâs greatest hopes is seeing Ahsoka happy with her fellow Jedi, at ease with the embodiment of authority that is Mace.Â
Yoda loves Mace - heâs the first person he reaches for in the vision of the devastated Temple - and he loves Ahsoka, and part of his greatest temptation? Is to see the rift between the lost child of the Order and its Head healed.Â
Same thing with Quinlan - the known loose cannon - and Saesee - another Council member.
And Tera Sinube is an elder Jedi, talking to a youngling.
And Aayla is âjustâ a Knight, almost a random one, and Anakin is chatting with her.
This follows a pattern: the rogue and the conventional, the very old and the very young, the common and the extraordinary - each pair shows opposites enjoying each otherâs company, differences embraced.Â
(Anakin talking to Aayla instead of sticking to Obi-Wanâs side like he does in the real world is especially interesting - heâs part of the community here, not ostracizing himself like he tends to do. Again, for this to be part of Yodaâs great temptation says so much about how caring he is. He wants Anakin to belong, more than anything.)
And finally, we get this:Â

Once again we find that central theme of healing and wholeness. This part is what convinces Yoda to briefly let go of his (well-founded) doubts and to embrace the vision. Itâs his biggest, greatest, deepest desire. The one that could have made him abandon reality itself to stay in this idyllic dream. Itâs his unbroken lineage, happy, in the light.Â
Yoda just wanted them all to be a family. Obi-Wan clearly adores Dooku in this scene (check it out, his awestruck look is amazing), their body language is incredibly warm and open, and they are completely at ease with each other and delighted to be sharing stories. It just screams domestic life.
And thatâs it, thatâs all Yoda ever wanted. For the young and the old to be content together, a community bathed in light, the gardens filled with the sound of windchimes and the laughter of children. He just wanted to have his family alive and safe and smiling.Â

⢠the batch have a rule to never call wrecker dumb or stupid because he's actually really insecure about his intelligence (which is ridiculous, do u know how smart a demolitions expert is?? he's a himbo but he's not an idiot)
⢠tech prefers info dumping to crosshair cuz he's the best listener
⢠crosshair loves all his brothers the same but he has a soft spot for tech
⢠crosshair gets really mad at wrecker for interrupting/ignoring tech cuz it makes tech feel annoying
⢠then wrecker explains he doesn't cut him off cuz he finds tech annoying, he just has a short attention span
⢠wrecker likes to see the best in people and can be quite trusting, something that stresses out his protective brothers
⢠wrecker will physically carry tech away from his work bench if he's not sleeping
⢠crosshair is the only one who can lie to hunter and get away w/ it bc his heart rate doesn't change
⢠most of the boys can ignore shit talk but wrecker is somewhat sensitive, making his brothers very protective
⢠maker help you if you hurt wrecker's feelings
⢠crosshair and tech would always get hunter to comfort him so they could plot revenge
⢠losing eyesight is crosshairs worst fear, watching it happen to wrecker broke his heart (he definitely cried on his big brother's chest when they were alone)
⢠even if they try to hide it hunter can always hear when someone's crying
⢠hunter tries to stay strong for his batch 24/7 but if he needs comfort, he goes to wrecker
⢠big guy gives the BEST hugs
⢠since they were raised very isolated from regs they missed out on a lot of clone culture, they don't speak mando'a
⢠wrecker loves cuddles!
⢠hunter and tech have sensory issues so they don't always want to be touched but they usually don't mind it
⢠as long as it doesn't get in the way of tech's work he'll chill in pretty much any position so wrecker will just use him as a teddy bear
