Dakota’s always been afraid of needles, but now that she’s mutated, her scales are super tough, so they need a really tough needle and because she’s so much bigger, they need a bigger dose, so this ends up meaning that the needles are HUGE, like those comedy props, so… terrifying. IT’S AS BIG AS HER FINGER NO,STOP! DAKOTA NO WANT!

It’s never easy. Ever.

Even Sam is a little scared of her when you bring out a needle in front of her. He loves her, but…. it’s not a fun time.

Plus it really hurts because the needles are big, so it’s not like she’s completely unjustified.

Of course, after being in the hospital for a week with IV’s in me everywhere, I can take needles. I’ve had a tube going into my nose that led into my stomach; I can deal with a little poke. At least with needles, you don’t have to watch them yank the thing out of your nose and OH MY GOD THINGS THAT LONG SHOULD NOT COME OUT OF YOUR BODY NO DO NOT WANT.
