This collection of dream-like paintings reflect her meditations on the natural world, imbuing abstract landscapes with translucence and tranquility. The show emphasizes Sahba’s ability to create quietly beautiful layered works with subtlety and lightness, and yet also depth and texture. What you see on her canvases – when you are with them for a while – magically changes depending on the angle from which you view them and the ever-changing light. About SAHBA SAHBA SHERE is a Bay Area-based artist whose work is inspired by her world travels and deeply influenced by nature and meditation. A painter and abstract photographer, Sahba’s works can be found everywhere from private residential art collections, luxury hotels, and corporations, to art galleries, universities, public venues and art shows across the U.S. and around the globe. Her work is available for purchase as paintings on canvas, works on paper and prints on fine lithograph. Sahba is also sought after for commissioned works for individuals’ residences and workplaces.
