Obviously it all depends on who’s writing them and i will admit— certain creators do tend to not give their uke characters as much attention as they would their seme’s. BUT the majority of them, i feel, DONT do that! Uke and seme doesn’t automatically make one more lame or cool than the other. A ton of times they are both well-written characters with fleshed out backstories (err.. unless of course if it’s a r18 kinda manga .. BUT THATS A WHOLE DIFFERENT TYPE OF NICHE! a lot of R18 manga’s— especially if it’s just a oneshot manga— don’t tend do flesh out the characters as much for that’s not the point of the manga!!). Uke BY DEFINITION!!! is a fanfic term used by a lot of (usually) female fans, called fujoshi’s (or called fudanshi if it’s a male fan). It basically tells you who’s the bottom or top when it comes to shipping!!! Characteristics of an uke usually involves them being more passive, impressionable, delicate, and maybe more inexperience of the two!! WHICH are NOT negative traits in itself!! This is usually the trope they fall into!! Other characteristics involves them usually being shorter than the seme (THOUGH NOT NEEDED!! There is plenty room in the yaoi spaces for tall ukes!!!), pretty boy types, and are younger. THOUGH A LOT OF THESE ARENT NEEDED!! A ton of people just use uke or seme just to say who is the top or bottom in their headcanons! Or it’s basically the guy who plays the “woman” role in a gay relationship. anywho this is a silly little thing i made in light of recent events such as me coming out to my uncle and him accepting, getting super hyped for the con in july, celebrated a friend's bday yesterday— i love winning!!!! it's also just a lil reminder that everything'll come out okay sooner or later and to me, the 1st years we oh-so dearly love are perfect examples, so i used them!

im so tired thoughh because i spedran this in under 33 hours (fastest time!) and had over 141 FREAKING LAYERS on ibis paint, but that wasn't even the worst part!! idk if anyone else does but alight motion did NOT want to cooporate?? and it kept crashing every five seconds. this was supposed to have a cuter ending but the ending itself glitched so bad that i had to come up with something new before anything were to occupy me so we have to live w the choices we made in this one
