🎐I’ve been doing some writing on the side but I wouldn’t consider myself a writer. Mostly just been doing freestyle poetry and they are not perfect. 

Hidden Behind a Mask 🎭

As timid and shy as she was

Everyone thinks she’s silent.

Silent as a slight breeze

Whispering through the sky.

Deep down, there was more to her

Than meets the eye.

Standing on a cliff edge near the ocean

She cries out words.

Words were often said

However, her lips stay locked.

When her lips were moving

Only air was released.

Her true self, her true identity

Hidden behind a mask.

Even with the mask

She wishes it would shatter.

Through time, cracks appeared

Scattering in different paths.

Each line had a unique significance

Eventually broke into pieces.

Tiny pieces falling into the ocean

Revealing herself to everyone.

While pieces were falling down

New ones would be replaced.

In the end,

Everyone would meet her mask.

She wishes chunks would fall

While everything was revealed.

However, among cracks and pieces

Her mask stayed in place.

Standing on a cliff edge near the ocean

Brought her a sense of closure.

The slight breeze of the ocean

Brought something familiar.

Her petite yet strong hands

Slowly reached towards her face.

Feeling the roughness and indentations

As her fingers brushed the edges.

Gripping and removing the broken mask

She was revealed.

While a single tear ran down her soft cheek

She was relieved.

There was more than meets the eye

Below are rules should be followed and respected, just like I respect everyone else’s. However, if there is any clarification or concerns please send a message. 

♠ I know with everything that is going on right now, I will not be posting consistently with my writings. Right now I’m busy with life and we know how that can go. For now only time will tell with things. 

♠The writing I do are pretty much random there is no set theme or style. 

♠For now I am only concentrating on my freestyle poetry. Maybe later in the future I’ll do more, but I want to focus on improving my writing. 

♠ I’m not very talented when it comes to writing, so don’t expect a pro level writing nor compare mine to other writers who have an amazing talent for it. 

♠ I will be re-editing here and there for mistakes throughout my writing. I’m not perfect and sometimes I don’t catch everything. Things happen.
