Can I just say...
What a lovely, warm and amazing relationship is being portrayed in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon?
Ahn Min Hyuk and Do Bong Soon meet at random one day (you know, bus incident aside), and he liked her (in his own words, he found her sexy right off the bat, something Bong Soon has never though of herself because of her super human strength), so he went and looked for her, helped when he could, asked her to work for him and did everything he could think of - without being creepy - to keep her in his orbit.
Do Bong Soon saw him as a job at first, an in to the company she really wanted to work at (which he owns), and was very open about it. She found him irritating at times and didn’t quite get what his deal was.
But through being together a lot, they got to know each other and worry for about the other and to finally like one another, and they honestly want to help each other out.
When Min Hyuk figures out who was after him is Bong Soon who listens to him, understands why he is crushed and doesn’t stop trying to cheer him up until he feels better.
When Bong Soon is unsure about her powers, Min Hyuk accepts that she was just born like that, and when she decides to use her powers for good, Min Hyuk helps her ‘evolve’, and helps her to finally get a grip on that strength, he is actually really helpful to her.
They talk about the stuff that matters to them. They are friends. And yes, he has a huge crush on her, but he doesn’t push it on her, ever.
And it’s just plain lovely.
