Homecoming
☣ ; }
The trip back to Kaon had been easier than actually arriving and stepping over the corpses lining the street to enter the medical clinic. A few of the frames gasped, reaching for thin legs–apparently not all were deceased yet, but soon would be. The rust coating their frames had nearly made him smirk, mock their agony as their spark closed in on burning out completely, but he had more pressing matters at servo.
The clinic was dreary and filthy, as was everything in the city, but it was home and held the one Decepticon he was eager to return to. He passed through the waiting room like a ghost, slipping into the surgical area and closing the door behind him.
“I’m home and I bring news.”
Purple energon twirled the drain as the surgeon washed away the sins of moments before. An experiment that left his spark pulsing erratically and processors racing with the data that he’d uncovered. But he was neither startled nor surprised by the assassin, his back kept to the speedster and an unimpressed hum rumbling in his throat.
“I had foolishly hoped that the Enforcers murdered you,” he admitted, turning off the sprayer and grabbing a towel to dry his servo. “But news is far better than your death, even if we could have used it to incite violence and rip Iacon out from underneath the Autobots.”
100 Ways to Say ‘I Hate You’
I saw a post about 100 ways to say ‘I love you’, so I thought I’d make the anti-version if it doesn’t exist already. Roleplayers, send these to each other for angst reasons! Tw for emotional abuse, language, and some major rejection themes, though some them are joking and could be used for friendly rivals or pals who play-insult one another. Change or add pronouns as necessary.
“You’re a disappointment to me.”
“I don’t care if you live or die.”
“I used to care about you. Now? I regret every second I wasted.”
“How do you think I feel? I’m pissed off!”
“Go. Just go.”
“If you come back, I won’t be here.”
“I’ve never despised someone as much as I despise you.”
“Ha! You think I care about you? What do you think I am, desperate?”
“I regret ever saying ‘hello’.”
“Leave and don’t come back, ever.”
“Remember when we first met? I wish I didn’t.”
“You’re the worst mistake I’ve ever made.”
“Don’t touch me. Don’t even look at me.” “You took months/years of my life away. I’ll never get those back.”
“I saw a trash bag on the side of the road today. Reminded me of you.”
“I could have been doing so much better than wasting my time with you.”
“You’re a sick bastard, you know that?”
“I don’t care.”
“Go ahead, leave. Don’t worry about coming back.”
“You’re such a piece of shit.”
“I didn’t think you could be any more of a shithead, but you just proved me wrong.”
“You’re so stupid.”
“Why do I waste my time with you?”
“You’re not the person I thought you were.”
“Hey! Just a daily reminder: you’re a piece of shit!”
“I deserve so much better.”
“We’re not friends. We were never friends!”
“I pretended to like you because I felt bad for you! How did you fall for that?”
“I never want to see you again.”
“You’ve done nothing but make my life a living hell.”
“Don’t apologize - you don’t deserve my forgiveness!”
“No, I’m never giving you another chance!”
“I wish you were never born.”
“You’re the last person I wanted to see right now.”
“I’d rather be working with anyone else in the whole world right now.”
“When you get back, your shit’s gonna be on the front lawn. Take it and get out.”
“Go ahead, choose them! You deserve each other.”
“I don’t know what they see in you.”
“You’re an embarrassment to me.”
“You’re an embarrassment to all of us.”
“I wish it was you. I wish it was you to die instead of them.”
“God, why did I have to end up working with the biggest asshole in the world?”
“How could you think I ever loved you? You seriously think I’d sink that low?”
“Sorry, I just puked in my mouth a bit. I accidentally looked at your face.”
“How can you even live with yourself?”
“If I was your mirror, I’d break myself just so you would throw me in the trash and I wouldn’t have to look at you.”
“Being with you was the worst time of my life.”
“You’re a monster.”
“Not a day goes by that I don’t wake up wishing I was dead because of you.”
“I’m going to ruin your fucking life.”
“You said you would change, but you never did! You never will!”
“Some people are just born to fail. Sorry you’re one of the unlucky ones.”
“You’re so worthless, you hardly even exist to me.”
“I wish I could go back to the day I met you, and just walk away.”
“If you give me that look one more time, I’m skipping jump-rope with your large intestines.”
“Honestly, I’m embarrassed to even know you.”
“Ugh, it smells like something died in here. Oh. It’s just you.”
“You need to stop. You hurt everyone around you!”
“Until you get your shit together, I don’t want to hear you complain.”
“Look at you. You’re disgusting.”
“Stop making me look bad.”
“You have a face that makes me wish punching people wasn’t frowned upon in our society.”
“Shut your mouth. I don’t want to hear your obnoxious voice.”
“Go play in traffic.”
“Fuck off.”
“If I saw you in the ocean clinging to a log for safety, I’d save the log and let you drown. At least wood can become something useful, like toilet paper.”
“How could I ever love something as terrible and hideous as you?”
“I can’t even look at you right now.”
“It was all a lie.”
“I never loved you, and I never will.”
“Don’t try to beg. It won’t work.”
“You’re not worth the mud on the bottom of my shoes.”
“Look at you. You’re pathetic. I’ve never seen a sadder sight.”
“I’m going to hurt you slowly, and I’m going to enjoy every second of it.”
“For what you did to them, I’ll do the same to you.”
“An apology? You want to offer an apology? No. I don’t accept it.”
“You’re everything I hate in a person.”
“I wish you were dead.”
“You’re nothing to me. Less than nothing!”
“What a sad sack of shit you are.”
“My life is in fucking shambles thanks to you!”
“How could you? You bastard!”
“I’d rather eat sewage than ever touch you again.”
“Hey asshole, I’m here to ruin your day, just like I did yesterday and the day before that.”
“You’d be more useful if you weren’t even alive.”
“Hey, it’s my least favorite waste of space.”
“Every day that I woke up next to you, I was tempted to smother you with a pillow while you slept.”
“Love you? Don’t make me laugh.”
“Just thinking about you makes me sick to my stomach.”
“You deserve a slow and painful death for what you’ve done.”
“I can’t stand people like you.”
“Stop doing that thing. You know, that thing I hate. Breathing.”
“If I could trade you for a nest of angry wasps, you would be long gone.”
“I can’t wait to dance on your grave.”
“If we were the last two people on earth, I’d be subtracting one.”
“I never want to see the likes of your filth around here again.”
“I’m disgusted by you.”
“Fuck you!”
“If I ever see you again, it will be far too soon.”
“I have three words for you: Burn. In. Hell.”
“I hate you.”
cold-blooded-corruption:
Barricade let an optic ridge quirk. The way this individual spoke. The way he held himself. Everything was off and the enforcer didn’t appreciate the scent of things.
“Nah I’ll stay out here.” he said with a keen nod. “And don’t have questions actually. I know fragging well whats going on with me.” he explained. “Been in stasis for too damn long is all. I was corrupted back when the war was first getting gritty. When slag was hitting the fans so to speak on our side and Megs was looking for a new way to turn the tides.”
“Are you quite serious? I was under the impression that all of those mech died from exposure or at least put down.” His voice showed genuine surprise that his face did not. Unless, of course, the mech was part of the program he’d been apart of--though he doubted that, he would have remembered should they have shared a cell block.
“You wouldn’t mind if I took a look under your hood, would you? Most of these newbies are half-starved Neutrals or Autobots, shunned for their infection and ending up in Kaon. They lack a certain vibrancy that comes with long term infection.”
cold-blooded-corruption:
Whatever drew the enforcer to this hellacious part of Kaon, he would never know. He heard the screams, smelled the sickly sweet scent of Energon that was more than tempting to the dark colored mech. But there was something else that made him wonder what was taking place, and sure enough he was quick to find it.
Another mech corrupted with Dark Energon. He should have recognized the scent sooner. Barricade sneered, but headed into the dismal infirmary all the same. Later he was greeted by the doctor in the house and all he could do was wonder and speculate.
“Something drew me here” he explained, though by his unwillingness to draw his optics away, he was looking at the source of this…feeling he had. “Something…familiar.”
“Not unusual,” the surgeon spoke all too calmly, optics tracing the outline of the mech before him. His frame shifted but he didn’t approach fully; no, he lingered just out of reach, almost tauntingly. “It’s not uncommon for Unicron spawn to seek each other out. Most tend to ignore the pull--I hadn’t felt one in quite some time, not since the Autobots managed to destroy most of our brethren.”
His tone was civil enough, though venomous when mentioning Autobots. He motioned with a bloodied servo to a more private office, away from the grunting in the surgical room. His smile rehearsed with a false kindness and charm.
“Come, you must have questions--they always do. The ones exposed later, I mean. Usually through moving corpses or wandering into Praxus.” It hadn’t quite been his job, but those exposed were easier to convince and pull into unsavory plans.

@cold-blooded-corruption liked for a starter
Long, sharpened digits dipped pass the outer edges of the wound and the sharp tips pressed firmly against the shattered spinal strut. The mech on the examination table screamed hoarsely, vocal processor long since fried and spitting sparks, and his blunt fingers tried to claw against the table. The broken toy had pleaded and begged for mercy--‘kill me,’ he had whimpered throughout the session, ‘please, just end it!’--but they fell to deaf ears.
A revved of a finely tuned engine occurred, followed by a purr. The mech spoke no words as he dug the talon deeper, which had been followed by the familiar sound of cracking metal. And just before he could snap the strut further, a sound rang out--the sound of someone having passed through the door of his little clinic--and Flatline pulled energon slick digits from the frame.
He hadn’t bothered to retrain his patient; it was far too damaged to roll off the berth, let alone flee. He simply walked from the surgical room, closing the door behind him, and approaching the front of his filthy little clinic.
“I’m not doing the arena today, boy,” he called out, believing it to be one of the conmech that ran them. “I’ve said time and time again, I’m a--”
There were few things that surprised Flatline; purple frame and optics, the familiar scent of Dark Energon, always among them. Instantly, his own tainted optics brightened, almost giddy, and he strolled forward with grace that no frame his size should hold.
“Pardon me,” he nearly purred, a menacing glee about it. “I thought you were someone else. Is there something I can do for you, sir?”

Barricade: Torso impaled (by object of choice. I’ll let you choose)Flatline: Scratches on face
This was a strange turn of events. Somehow Barricade ended up in a fight with a mech he had never met…which wasn’t surprising really given the enforcer’s demeanor. However the fight turned rather ugly and he wasn’t even really sure how…or what caused it. All he was away is that one second, his claws had come down over the stranger’s face…then the next there was a sharp pain through his chest that left him gasping for cool air. He was still alive…somehow the object only barely missed his spark.
cold-blooded-corruption
Flatline would get his makeshift sword back. A few pieces of the enforcer as well as somethings decided to stick to the spikes rather than stay with their owner. Nothing major however. Wires, small reserve cells that were half full of a questionable colored liquid, and of course half of Barricade’s radiator.
Naturally with foreign object removed and little to no air being drawn in, the mech gasped like a sharkticon on land for too long. Doubled over even and eventually collapsed on his side. However there was a curious lack of his own Energon. Something that didn’t bother Barricade but would likely freak out the individual that had decided to attack him.
Though with time, the enforcer’s intakes seemed to return. They were shaky at first, ragged even. But in a few moments, it was as if the part Flatline obtained was little more than that- a part.
Moments later, the con was back on his pedes again with hole slowly patching in. Though that didn’t leave the obvious disgruntled expression over the mech’s light gray facial plates. He did have a right to be angry.
Fear had been the furthest emotion to have pierced through Flatline’s spark, talons plucking wiring and bits of his victim from the spikes and optics closely examining the lack of honest gore. His gaze had then moved to the collapsed mech, curiosity peaked and only growing when the ragged intake shook the frame below.
He’d stepped forward, began to bend down to get a look when the mech had stood and the surgeon followed the action with a jerk. He took a sharp intake, in complete awe at the wound patching itself, oblivious to the anger that surged through his victim. “Fascinating,” he breathed out, a sinister smirk coming to his lip-plating.
“I have never seen Dark Energon do that before; shall we try something else?” His voice mimicking his curiosity with a gleeful undertone accenting the question. Then with grace, he’d spun the hammer, swinging the head of the hammer at the mech’s helm; hoping to sink the sharp, heavy end into his victim, for science of course.
I’m chuckling because I’d thought Flatline could have finally made a friend, someone to discuss all the weirdness of Dark Energon with and what it’s done to his frame, but nope. Flatline impales the guy and doesn’t bother trying to help him.
Come on, Flatline. What’s wrong with you?

Barricade: Torso impaled (by object of choice. I’ll let you choose)Flatline: Scratches on face
This was a strange turn of events. Somehow Barricade ended up in a fight with a mech he had never met…which wasn’t surprising really given the enforcer’s demeanor. All he was away is that one second, his claws had come down over the stranger’s face…then the next there was a sharp pain through his chest that left him gasping for cool air. He was still alive…somehow the object only barely missed his spark.
The Enforcer hadn’t been the only one confused, Flatline joined him in those ranks, albeit for far different reasons. The tainted medic had started the fight, planning simply to use the other Decepticon for an experiment, but talons drew energon that matched purple optics and the surgeon’s color scheme. He had planned to beat the other mech into submission with the Nex Hammer that he’d pried from a corpse years before.
But Barricade had been too close, Flatline hadn’t been paying attention, and now the sharpened and multi-spiked handle was piercing through the stranger’s chest. All fighting had ceased, though in no part of Flatline feeling guilty for the gasping the other mech had been doing--no, Flatline was too busy blinking owlishly as he tried to place the pieces together.
“By Unicron’s grace,” he murmured, optics lifting to see that... yes, the stranger still functioned, all things considered. He frowned as his servo slipped towards the head of the hammer, purple optics narrowing--one flickered, apparently damaged when Barricade had swapped at him. “I’m going to need this back, my friend.”
And Flatline yanked as hard as he could, attempting to dislodge his impromptu ‘sword’ from the mech’s chest.

“Medic fight!”
“Are you an idiot? Do I look like a simple field medic to you? No, of course not. Do not compare me to trash like that crimson imbecile.”

«Is this supposed to upset me? I mean, honestly, you’re edging close to being an abomination. Why would you think your opinion mattered?»
::Oh please, you can do better than that. Try again and perhaps I’ll give you the attention you obviously crave.::
◢I think you ought to keep your little assassin on a leash or he might not make it home.◣
::Or perhaps you should keep your little enforcer out of Decepticon business. I know you’re not one of us, Lockdown, but honestly, I thought you had some taste in partners.::

Flatline is very proud of his lovely little assassin at the moment.
