haven’t seen that one but took a look by searching, looks super fun and those alien designs are also so cool omfg i’m in love. will def be adding that one and The Vast of Night to my list, which the cinematography looks great and idk why but it’s giving movie from the 80s to me which is also a bonus imo.

and Crimson Peak mention !! i watched that movie quite a long time ago and i remember enjoying it throughly at the time, haven’t done a rewatch yet recently though so maybe eventually. love me a good gothic movie and the costume design was just absolutely gorgeous as well.

i LOVEEE Midnight Mass, genuinely one of my favorite TV shows and has inspired my art in a way. actually so good and i adored everything about it. the visuals and monologue of the ending too was just wow, admittedly i did kind of cry lol.

i’ve always thought that modern Vincenzo would be some sort of fashion designer or model, perhaps he’d be one of the designers that tailors clothes for clergy and the Pope. or maybe secretariat for the economy in the Vatican where he’d have connections with high ranking people, holding no clerical role. maybe the design one is more fitting for modernity, but either way i think he’d be a lot happier and less miserable in the modern era considering he wouldn’t be investigated and killed by the inquisition or have Adriano taken away from him (they’d be able to live a good life together), as well as many other things that happened in canon. plus, a lot more opportunities for him and things that he would enjoy in general that hadn’t been created yet in the canon year. definitely would still be collecting and doing occult things but on a higher scale, can totally see him owning some rare items.

as for Madigan, i foreshadowed his death year in one of my art pieces ! the year of 1988, which can be seen in the confidential report note in this work.
