Some shifts/changes bring a ton of emotions with it. Emotions of excitement or fear. The emotional connection is what makes you blossom, it’s what makes the journey magical, it’s the GlOW. In June I had planned to move off the mountain @mountmadonna and was headed for Stanford. I was fully aligned and excited about my future plans, but some doors don’t open. Not to say that I wouldn’t ever go to grad-school or Stanford, but at the moment it’s not apart of my timeline. It did STING, real bad, but I had to find my peace within that. Fasting forward, life tends to get all tangled up with emotions and life experience. From Stanford, racial tensions at work, juggling my job at the school + the center, finishing my last class for my ECE certification, my Lead/mentor leaving the center, & two deaths in my family. I mean the list can continue, but I had no more room to allow anything to shift/change. It wasn’t too much, but it was just enough. Enough to know that I have had enough. Spring break happened and I allowed myself to sit and spend time seeking clarity about what is next for me. I spent that time moving as slow as I wanted, beach time w/the girls, good healthy food, walkIN, singIN, plant lovIN, card readIN, cleanIN my spaceship, winE sippIN, yoga, meditation and the absolute last thing was making kombucha. To share with the community. A community that supports and allows all of me to shine even when change/transitions are difficult. CLARITY! Clarity for the future and in these moments. My ancestors & Team have set the journey up so well. When I’m in routine/practice I can flow. The fog clears up & everything starts to feel like Beginners Mind. Something big is coming! It feels good to be witnessed and to have support. I’m not sure if I’ll ever have true clarity about this one life, but I’ll never stop searching as long as I continue to have the power and courage to move in my practice of alignment. These are my beautiful sisters that I get to add to the bunch. This is a DIVINE friendship & has been immersed with nothing but pure love. Pure authentic L O V E. I met these young woman about a year ago & there’s so many reasons our paths has crossed. First, I’ll say that I asked for friends that was on the same vibration as me. Friends that were passionate about having tools to help assist them in life. But really friends that I could do yoga with. & BOOM my journal entry was answered. Until you step into the unknown, you won’t know what you are made of. Mount Madonna is an authentic place and we all showed up at this time to be with one another. To hold each other accountable, to teach me how to be soft, to learn to be a radical communicator, to cry when we’re having hard times, to show up as YOU all the time, but to truly believe in this bond that we have created. These are my girls and I love them. What I can say is that as soon as RONA hit, we were stuck together more than ever. We held each other and are stilling holding each other during these times.
