he loses interest a second later, gaze sliding off the man’s back to take in the scenery. he raises his mechanical arm to click his thumb and forefinger together, bringing it to the cigar still between his lips to light it. a content puff into the brewing air before he affixes his hat again to rest securely on his head, turning to look towards the riverbank. if he ran for the boat, he’d last maybe three minutes before the rain caught him… and these were his NICE clothes, besides.
mccree turns to pose a question to the huntsman, before whatever query dies in his throat. hanzo was still naked as the day he was born, filthy garments left behind on the rock near the river. “ clothes, ” he stammers, eyes widening before throwing up a hand to feign modesty. wasn’t he scared of the bug bites this far out into the countryside?
he tips his hat resolutely before taking a foot outside the cave, the rain sleeting against him and wetting his outer coat. the hail comes down like no other, and one actually hits him on the head before falling harmlessly to the ground. the riverboat owner staggers, spanish curse coaxed from his lips, before he stumbles back into the cave. hopefully hanzo wasn’t watching that pitiful display.
“ i hope ya got spares of those furs, partner. ” addressed to no one in particular as he sits his ass down near the kindling fire, reaching out a hand to warm himself. in all the commotion, his cigarette still hasn’t gone out; he takes a shaky puff to calm himself, stripping his hat to run his metallic hand through wet hair. “ would it be a stretch ta ask if you have an umbrella? — made outta GOATSKIN or something?? ”
“Umbrella?” His tone is quenching and drinking and dipping questionable tastes and turns of it all, and he inhales a share breath at the man, drenching himself out in the burning cold of the il. His attire was unlike the ones he had seen from home, the ones that he had woven from he hide of the deer himself in or the cold, and could not protect him from he bitter winds or thee soak of the rain. He didn't like being concerned. He despises the hot-white murmur of concern in the pit of the stomach, rumbling and bitterly within him to DO something. something he didn't want to do but wanted to do. Confliction is war in the loins of man, and he was losing his battle. He is still nude as the day he was born, setting the food aside on a small lapse int he cave, and instinctively, pulls the ma of the river from the taste of the rain, glaring at him with okami-touched eyes and a growl deep in his throat. “Stay out of the rain. You'll drown before you make it back to that monster of metal and gore.” He hissed, taking his hands off of him after realizing what he was doing, turning away from him. The other is soaking wet nd he is concerned, and he despises it. without tourney, he turns to him and snarls. “Strip, before the water takes your bones to rot.”
