THE FACTS

1.  Sento has no memory of anything before September 5th, when Souichi found him in an alleyway

2.  Satou Taro, his supposed former identity, seemed to have a very different personality to Sento, considering the photos we’ve seen of him and Sento’s dislike of Satou’s apartment.

3. Dr. Katsuragi Takumi was involved with Faust and was killed by them.

4. In the next episode preview, Sento is yelling “Give me back my body!” to someone, presumably Blood Stalk.

Now, you may think “But OP, how does this mean that Sento is actually this random dead scientist?” Well, see:

Katsuragi is on the Build website in the list of main characters, despite being dead. And, what’s this? Katsuragi and Sento have the exact same hairstyle!

Maybe during one of Faust’s experiments, they wound up swapping Satou and Katsuragi’s minds. Maybe this resulted in Katsuragi also having amnesia, or maybe both having amnesia. It’s also possible that the amnesia was specifically induced by Faust. What we do know is that Faust killed Katsuragi’s body to cover something up. Satou was just some random musician, but Katsuragi was a well known scientist. A sudden personality change would be noticeable, so they had to kill him and ensure no one would know.
