They see every broken part of you and stay, and you do the same for them. It isn’t about fixing each other…it’s about loving each other through the damage, through the bad days, through everything. - steam. cooking steam, bathroom steam, etc. levi takes baths with the door cracked and doesn’t boil food often.

- airplanes (and related). especially ones crossing the sky though. onyankopon against his better judgment tried to convince levi to give it a chance because it’s faster than a ship ride to hizuru or paradis (onya being a pilot), and this argument got UGLY. as in bringing up their friendships with hange ugly and onyankopon would later apologize.

- loud noises like fireworks or thunder.

- coming across kids having snowball fights weirdly reminds him of zeke and how he pelted the scouts with rocks at shiganshina. he finds this one the most embarrassing because of how harmless, or even asinine, this seems to everyone else. no one who was on that side of the wall made it to the end of the war other than himself.

- storms/heavy rain. he lost isabel and farlan in one and experienced the explosion in one.

- too much contact with germs. dusting a shelf full of moldy neglected books? a stack of disgusting dirty dishes? that's alright. but i feel like he has the propensity to get overwhelmed easier after the war, especially with poor depth perception, mobility, etc.

- blood puts him on-edge. granted, he very rarely has to deal with that problem, but that almost makes it worse.
