Darth Vader is a clone of Anakin Skywalker. When Anakin refused to join Sidious, Vader was brought forth and fought for his spot in the empire. Since then, Anakin's been kept prisoner of the empire. He is kept alive, connected to a machine, so that Vader can use the force through him. No one in the rebellion knows of his fate and his spirit is quickly diminished.

Five years go by when Cody, formally known as CC-2224, wakes up from the control of the inhibitor chip. It is up to him to find the rebellion and get Anakin home.

Featuring codywan, padmé raising the twins, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, and Rex united in the rebellion, and Bail pretending to love the empire. There is fluff, and there is a lot more angst.
