I - yeah, not personally or anything.  I mean, now it’s sorta personal?  Sorry, I get tongue tied really easily.  Yeah, it’s always been just the two of us, so she’s kind of my own cheerleader.  I think it’s part of being a parent.  Like it’s written in the unofficial handbook.  Yeah, except I end up wasting an entire day watching tv.  

Thanks, I’m pretty proud of myself.  Oh, cool.  I thought you were at least a junior.  Maybe cause you play football or something.  Like actually play and not sit on the bench and stuff.  I might have watched a game or two.  Oh yeah, sure.  Sorry, I get kinda excited with these things.  I’ve already had my mom block off like all of December.  Yeah, I try not to log into Netflix too often.  I’m a total binge watcher. 

So you knew who I am? That makes me feel kinda cool. I’m sure your mom is super proud of you and doesn't mind coming to all the shows. I know mine would too. That’s totally the fun of netflix and it’s like, why they put the whole season up at once. 

We’re girls, we don’t like to go all crazy and punch each other a broken nose or something.

Yeah, I guess punching isn’t the best way to fight either. 

It’s a little cliche, but it doesn’t mean we aren’t performing it! The Nutcracker is the ultimate symbol of the Christmas season. I’m actually the lead this year! I can’t tell you how big of an achievement it is for a lowly sophomore to get such a coveted role. You wouldn’t happen to want a ticket, would you? Oh and yes! While the Internet is an awesome place; one I love getting lost in, people really can be disgusting.

Oh cool. I kinda like the music from that one. The lead is pretty impressive. I’m a sophomore too, by the way. Can I get back to you on the ticket thing? That’s not a no. Just a maybe since it’s only October and I have no idea with dates ora nothing like that. The internet is good for games and Netflix. 

Awesome!   I won’t be then!  I know people think ballet is stuffy and boring, but it really is the opposite.  There’s so much emotion in the music and dance.  It’s like acting, but without words or singing.  The dancer’s body movements and facial expressions are what convey the story.  Yeah, maybe we should stop talking about gumby or comparing my body to gumby.  I went youtube and the comments on the Gumby videos were insane and a little gross.  

So do you like The Nutcracker and stuff or is that super cliche? I think the internet can make everything gross. 

Of course not, we’re still classy girls. They slap each other once, don’t talk to each other for a few hours and then they make up and hug.

That sounds like a weird way of fighting.

I’m not sure whether to be bummed about that or not.  I think I kinda am. We’re actually a pretty well-known student run company.  Actually, there have been a bunch of graduates who moved on to really prestigious ballet companies.  I’m personally aiming for the Boston Ballet or the New York City Ballet.   Maybe? I’ve never really talked about him with anyone before.  Gumby isn’t a common topic of conversation lol.

Don’t be bummed. I don’t think I’ve ever seen ballet before, so it’s not like I tried to like, actively ignore it. Boston or New York would be cool. Oh yeah, I don’t think a lot of people talk about Gumby, but everyone knows who he is. 

Considering I’m barely a part of it, yes it does suck. It can be entertaining though, especially when the slapping comes around.

Slapping? As in real physical fights? 

Yeah, I’m not egotistical; just weird and awkward. That’s my dream anyway. I was accepted into the student ballet company which should give me a lot of exposure. I’m not sure I’d call him cool, but am impressed you know who he is. My mom and I used to watch the show when I was little. Guess it character stuck.

To be honest I don’t mind the homework, I enjoy most of my classes and it sometimes is a nice break from all the drama happening in the sorority.

Oh yeah, didn’t think about drama. That part probably sucks. 

I didn’t know there were mean nerds. Kind of figured outcasts were kind on principal. Marketing is cool. What do you want to do with that once you graduate? Yeah I am pretty bendy. Just like gumby. OMG I can’t believe I said that. Yep it was and no I wasn’t named after the dog.

I wish, that would be a fun class.

Greek parties are better than homework parties anyway. I mean, theres no such thing as a homework party, but if there was, homework makes everything super dull.

No? Thanks for saying that.  Most people think I can be a little geeky and weird when it comes to school.  

So, what are you majoring in?  Yeah, it’s like how I train my body to dance and bend into insanely difficult positions.   Thanks.  Most people usually ask if I was named after a dog.
