I don’t know, I’ve never had him gone for more than a weekend. And this place doesn’t do phone calls. Just letters for some stupid reason.

How long is he at this camp for? Letters can take a few days to arrive! Maybe write a letter now saying how much you miss him and send it, just so you’ve got your feelings out and there’s a guarantee he’s gonna get it. [raises an eyebrow] How old is he?

Well, yeah, I can do shit… but he’s my kid. I’m gonna miss him. 

But when he comes back you’ll be wishing you had more me time, surely? So rather than focus on missing him, focus on yourself. Obviously ring him once and day and shit, don’t abandon him, but...embrace being free for a bit!

I don’t know what I’m going to do without him around.

...not that I have kids, but I can’t see how this is an issue. No kid means freedom...which 90% of the town’s population seems to be unfamiliar with, as they all want babies it seems...do things for yourself! Take yourself out for dinner. Go clubbing. Read. Binge watch a TV show. Do whatever you want and make sure they’re the things you would normally feel guilty for, but wont!

A garden? Say no more, I’m sold! I had no idea we had one with a garden, that’s wonderful! 

There’s plenty of hidden gems in this place, you just gotta know where to look!

Those could never, ever go amiss! Do you know anywhere nearby that’s good for them …?

There’s a couple of places we could go...but I reckon we opt for the one with the garden. It’s a nice day - if we can be sipping our cocktails outside we should be!
