August smirks when Ryan shoves him. He knows that was a silly prank to play, and yet, he's amused it worked. And he's...surprised that she's asking him out on a date. Part of him thinks about the fact that he should have did this himself, ages ago, but glad at the same time that Ryan's the one who finally said something.
Both, he decides with a soft nod, take-out from the new Mexican place. We can borrow Aiden's truck, eat in the bed of it at the drive-in? If she wants to, of course.
Ryan nods, anticipation bubbling up inside her as she listen to the combination of both of those ideas. It's perfect and perhaps it's something they would have done anyway but there's intention behind it. It's a date and that carries a lot more then just a night out together, it's something that feels good.
"Yes," Ryan replies and this smile that paints itself on her face feels permanent too. "That sounds perfect."
