Erin listened sympathetically, already gleanig what the issue had been that sent the redhead knocking on her door. She let out a soft laugh before reaching out -albeit a bit hesitantly- to place a comforting hand over the girl’s knee. “It’s all right, Sky. I think by this point, it’s not really fair to the term ‘boss’ to keep addressing me as such, and honestly I think we didn’t just cross the professional line, we flew way past it months ago.” She gave a small shrug. “I think we can be excused for deciding that a friendship was more beneficial during a global pandemic,” she jested.
