“i haven’t graduated past jobber yet. there we go. update over,” meilin said with a tiny eyeroll. “i’m still a trainee, basically. honestly, you could ask himari what’s up with me, and probably get more useful information.”

“i had an idea for a new finisher, and i want to try it out,” himari said, stretching and shaking out her arms. “just want to see how it will work on different people. and get your input. i don’t want to be potentially copying someone else’s shit, you know? and the more people i show, the more likely it is i’m not doing that.” @rvmeilin​ @rvfuka​ @rvjenifer​

“you just want an excuse to beat me up,” meilin said with an eyeroll, resigning herself to what was to come. “yeah, whatever. let’s get it over with. what do you want me to do?”

“okay, real talk– aren’t you ever scared of like…gravity doin it’s thing?” jaekyung asked with a tiny snort. “like you do all these fucking flips and dives. how have you never like.. flashed someone.” @rvmeilin​

“i don’t have anything to flash-- what do you mean,” meilin scoffed. she was flat as a board. “there’s double sided garment tape-- i know some girls use that. but it’s not really a worry for me.”

“oh, shit, sorry– are you about to run some spots?” tony asked, a little flustered. “i thought everyone was done for the night. i was going to help pack up the ring, but if it’s in use, i’ll leave it…” @rvjunghoon @rvmeilin​ @rvhimari​ @rvfuka​

“i was just going to practice a handspring, but i can do that anywhere. i don’t need a fancy ring,” meilin answered with a shrug. “do you always pack up the ring? i thought you were a wrestler, not staff...”

“the stylists want to dye my hair, but i’m so scared. i don’t think i want them to…” ripley admitted, eyes wide with panic. “i feel like orange has become my signature; i like how i look with it! and remember that stupid bowl cut they gave me? no matter how long passes, i still am traumatized by that…”

“it’s your hair, why don’t you just keep it how you want? you don’t have to do something just because someone told you too. that’s weird,” meilin answered with an eyeroll

“i think i’m ready to start working on solo work,” sookie admitted, scrubbing her face in her hands. she’d had a solo debut in rejectz’s early days, but nothing for about three years since. “i’ve put so much of my focus into my group, and i think i’ve gotten us to a really good place. is it selfish of me to want to start working on something for myself now?”

“isn’t that just how this all works? popular group members get solo stuff? or do i not know as much about kpop as i thought i did?” meilin asked. “if slash can have so many solo songs and still be in phantom, why would  you having a solo song be an issue?”

“you know, sometimes my job is a real fucking pain in the ass,” taehyung grumbled, scrubbing his face with his hands. “with all the new vocal trends these days, i’m forced to add so many filters and shit when i’m mixing, and it sounds disgusting more times than not. but it’s my job to comply so i can’t even do anything about it.”

“so you’re to blame for distich g’s autotune in their first song then, hmm? i might have to fight you. it was so unbearable for me, and the song could have been so good otherwise.”

“you know, it’s nice being not-famous here yet,” zak admitted. “i know that’s gonna change when my group debuts, but i couldn’t walk anywhere in LA without getting someone pointing at me. it’s cool to be normal for a few months.”

“do people actually do that? point at you? that seems so rude. and like it only happens in movies,” meilin commented.
