“alright, my semester is just about over. i think i have enough time to really invest in more legacy stuff. like…beyond the usual group stuff,” he announced, stifling a yawn. “maybe having such a small timeframe to try some solo stuff isn’t worth it, i guess. i was thinking we could have another unit, but … same issue…. never mind…” @rvdonny​ @rvjaeho​ @rvkisu​ @shinwoorv​

“when do you graduate, homie?” donny asked, leaning back in his seat. “i think you could def manage some solo stuff in your break time. even if you don’t do a normal promotion cycle, you could still make a release, no? or like...feature on someone else’s shit.”

“alright. new quarter, new fitness plans,” jeni announced, flipping open her notebook and looking at the boy group member in front of her. she liked working with legacy– they were idols, but they worked out like wrestlers. it was just much more familiar. “lets go over your progress the last few months, and what your goals are going forward, and we can put something together.” @rvjaeho​ @rvdonny​ @rvkisu​ @rvhanse​ @shinwoorv​ 

“ooh. parent teacher progress conference day,” donny said with a laugh, sliding into his chair and tapping the table with excitement. he liked working with jeni. she knew how to help him get results, without fucking up his health, and in a way where he could still be an idol. she was the best. “aight. where we startin, then?”

she’d never been to the states before– that in itself made the trip exciting, but the fact that the reason for the trip was because her boyfriend wanted to introduce her to the family? she’d been floating on air since they’d touched down in Malibu the week prior. donny’s parents were empty nesters, so the couple had rented a private villa (there wasn’t enough room for both of them and andy at the shin household), and sola felt like she was in a dream. walking out to the private pool area behind their unit to find adonis, she looked out from the doorway, hand shading her eyes from the sun. “hey babe, i think our reservation with your parents is in two hours– shouldn’t we start getting ready? i don’t know how long the drive will be….” 

it was always nice coming home. he loved his parents-- even if they were a little weird-- and the weather was fantastic. and this time around, the love of his life was coming with him. it was bliss. he sat up on the lounger he’d been dozing off on, rubbing his eyes and glancing over to her. “drive’s not long. fifteen minutes, maybe. and andy texted a few hours ago-- they moved it to a bit later in the evening. i think we have, maybe, three hours now? i was gonna come in and tell you, but i fell asleep..”

“caught during an intimate moment? you’ve got to be kidding me,” sola said, eyes that had been clouded with worried flashing to annoyance as she scanned the dispatch article that had caused so much chaos in her life that particular weekend. looking at donny, she scoffed. “they’re making it sound like we were caught fucking in the green room or something… all you did was kiss my forehead. this is ridiculous…” 

adonis was pacing at this point, shooting texts to his management and his group, trying to find someone who knew what to do and could help him. his career, he didn’t care about. men got more leeway. he’d debuted almost a decade ago. two other members of legacy had public partners (one had two kids). donny was fine. but sola? who had just barely debuted two years ago? he was petrified that his carelessness had ruined her career. “god, this is my fault. i should have been more careful,” he sighed, admitting defeat as he realized that he’d have to wait for a response. putting his phone down, he came up to her, tucking some of her hair behind her ear. “i’m so sorry, sola. i’ll find someone who knows how to fix this.”
