A 6 mile recovery run this morning under smokey skies and heavy humidity. Was drenched after the run.
The run was to recover from Friday's 2 x 3000 meters track workout. Not as humid as today but windier. The first 3000 meters was in 12:44, then a 12:26 after a lap rest jog/walk. Very happy with how the workout went. Hadn't done such a long distance intervals run in a long time, was especially surprised and happy with the 2nd 3000m. Feel like I'm getting stronger anaerobically.
Then a strength workout afterwards.
Thursday was a rest day.
