Last Day
So I’m officially moving out of my apartment tomorrow by noon and I am not done packing. I should be working on that, or doing the dishes, or cleaning the floors, or literally anything that is productive. Should be. What am I doing you ask? Taking a smoke break. And I hate smoking. I do it once in a full moon (really only about once a month if I’m overwhelmed). I hate to say it calms me down, but when nothing else can, it does. Anyways, I am doing nothing productive when I’m running out of time. Typical me.
I need to grab my daily planner and make a list of things to do because these next few weeks are going to be insanely busy. To outline:
7/31/16: move out, drive stuff across state
8/3/16: drive back with only some stuff, go to work, crash at friend’s friend’s place
8/5/26: help friend move into her new apt, crash at her place
~birthday week shenanigans~
~best friend coming to city~
8/19/16: move into my place
8/29/16: Grad school starts again
and this is only a fraction of it. Sigh.
I really am excited and grateful to have theses opportunities and wonderful friends and family to help me through this journey.

Planner.
I stopped using my planner when I took a break from school at the beginning of this year. It’s been so nice not to have my whole life detailed out on paper and digital files (because obviously one method isn’t enough. ha!). With school starting again, I need to dive back in but I want to make it more fun this time around. I have been looking at the planner tags here on tumblr, and youtube and there’s definitely some really cool things that I would love to try out.
Job Apps.
My initial goal for today was to complete an application for substituting in a nearby district. I’ve actually done a large portion of it, but still need to update my resume and cover letter. Ugh. I think that part of me is more scared that I will actually land a job because I’m going to be so busy with grad school and my current work that I’ll become overwhelmed again. I really want to land the job though. Aside from the extra money that it will bring, I feel like I need to be in that environment again; an environment where I can teach and help people grow.

21 Day Challenge
According to a quick google search, it takes twenty-one days to form a habit.
So, for the next 21 days I want to try out several new things and hopefully three of those things will stick.
First official day will be tomorrow (July 25, 2016), but I’m going to try a few tonight to get warmed up.
