Any advice on sleeping? I'm pretty exhausted after my runs, but lately I've been tossing and turning quite a bit. No specific reason, just feeling keyed up, I guess. Do you maybe have any specific rituals to wind down? General tips? I mean, I guess no one really sleeps that well in an apocalypse, but y'know, just thought I'd ask! --Five :)

Runner Five here! I've just gotten into being a Runner, and I find if I run two days in a row my feet are almost blistering (but not quite; I'm not sure how to describe it). It's painful and I find I need to take a day off after that. Is that something that just happens when you start running that you get used to/have to power through, or should I keep spacing them out like I have been to prevent the pain?
Sounds like you might need to work up some callouses on your feet, toughen them up. It took me forever, but changing my insoles helped. Maybe look into some moleskin liners or something?

My visual impairment is making running for Abel harder than I though it would. I know I can't keep running the same loops forever - I'll run out of things to pick up if I do! But my depth perception (or lack thereof) is making it hard on routes I don't know - I trip on undulating ground a /lot/! I know I said that I didn't need to and that I could run by myself, but... if the offer's still there, would I be able to team up with someone? I think I'd be more valuable that way. -a legally blind 5
I’ll get Runner 8 to join you on your runs until we can figure something out. Maybe we can make you some sort of device that rolls on the ground in front of you, and we can figure out how you can perceive the movement of the…thing… I don’t know, we’ll figure it out, Five. Promise. I’ll help out as best I can, letting you know where the ground dips and rises until then.

I admit this is from me! Mostly because I’ve been toying with the idea of meeting a guide runner. Not to mention, my characterised five is also legally blind and I was utterly unsure of how Abel would accommodate that!!
