What gets me about Fujimasa March is how painfully realistic her character arc is. She’s good at what she does. She runs fast, she trains hard, she puts in maximum effort, but good is all that she’ll ever be. Try as she might, she just doesn’t have the talent to be a professional racer, and regional races are all that she’ll ever get to run in. Sometimes in life, your best isn’t good enough. Not everyone is cut out for their dreams, and that’s the sad reality for Fujimasa March.
