 So here are some headcanons: 

 Ezran is an earthbender like his aunt 

 Callum is a “non-bender” since he couldn’t bend neither fire or earth like the rest of his family, nobody knew though that his birth father was an airbender and was killed with the others benders like him. So Callum realize later in the story that he can actually airbend and honestly is the day of his fucking life. 

 Amaya is chief of the police force of Republic City and I know this doesn t add to tla narrative but the tlok one but C'MON! SHE IS SO AWESOME 

 Runaan is the chief of the warrior, and like the series took Rayla under his wings and trained her to be a member of the watertribe warrior 

 Rayla is actually a waterbender! But she hides it to everyone because of her dislike towards water (and if we want to include this in the tla story, she should still hide it otherwise she would be killed in one of the fire nation raid to the north and south raid) 

 Claudia is a Firebender who even mastered lighting bending like his father

 Soren is a non bender soldier 

 Aaravos is the Avatar trapped in the Ice connecting through the spiritual world to Viren trying to get out
